The clueless media!

The main stream media remains clueless; they just don't get it! Republicans have to cheat, and gerrymander districts to their advantage. It's the only way they can win elections!

The thought of living under "Woke" Democrat rule just chafes at their shorts. They want a king for a president, a king who will tell them what to do and how to think. They love to pay higher prices for goods because of tariffs. They are told by their king that, because of tariffs, more money is pouring into our country than we can keep up with. They love paying high prices, knowing that it benefits the wealthy and will eventually trickle down to them.

And, there's more good news. Their beloved king president is going to visit England this fall. You can bet that he will pick King Charles brain and pick up all the finer points of being a better king president.
Republicans won the last election by the electoral vote, the popular vote, kept the House, won back the Senate, and took all seven swing states. Or, are you saying the election was fraudulent with no evidence?

So please to explain why some blue states show a 40%+ gop vote in every POTUS election yet don't have nary a gop congress critter to represent them.

Take MA....It's more than odd that 1,251,518 gop voters have no congressional reps.

Given they have 9 districts there's plenty enough centralized red there for at least one district, maybe even two don't you think?

I'm sure there are red states the same way.....Districts should be made up of an X number of counties.

Let us broaden your perspective.

You sound like you actually believe all that.

I stated that some red states were like that too but if you look at the number of districts in those states none are like MA with the number of districts available and the gerrymandering that had to take place to disenfranchise gop voters there.

Those states add up to 54 gerrymandered seat states in the Republican camp and only 38 including Mass for the Dems. I just wish you had a balanced view on life. If you dont like gerrymandering except if it favors republicans you are being disingenuous. Id like to think you are a straight shooter.

With the exception of Utah, where the Republicans carved up Salt Lake City into four pie pieces, I don't think a Democrat district could purposely be drawn in any of those states, particularly since four of them have only one House Rep, so it's stupid to even include those ones.

As for the Dem states on the right. Massachusetts is a bit of a gerrymander. Connecticut could probably tweak their map a bit to be more fair, but their districts have largely stayed the same shape. They've just soured on Republicans. New Mexico had a Republican representative along the border and they purposely added more Democrats to the district after redistricting to tilt it Democratic.

You aren't really helping your case here.

Mine was in response to an accusation using that criteria as a basis. Picking a state without representation isnt a great way to measure gerrymandering.

This criteria is solid but since it shows how bad red states are they call it fake. They can only understand simple things like the state has "no republicans or democrats". Nuance is a lost cause on MAGAfolks.

One question: do you think its acceptable to create districts based on race?

If you really want to prove your point you would post the district maps of all the states in your graph.

It’s in the link. The real map you should look at is this one that you can get by clicking the link, clicking the state on the Map (this one is North Carolina) then click the congressional arrow. And you scroll down to get this below. What you are seeing is how they pack all the Dems into 3 districts and spread out all the republicans.

You dont see that in a state like California for instance.

Ok, Trump won every single county in OK. How many democrat reps should their be?
At least one if not two. They carve up Oklahoma City into 4 different voting precincts to deny a democratic seat or two.

There are worse places. It’s about average for a GOP shithole state.
