The Census and the 2018 election

The Ds will probably see 20-40 million out migration from the blue wall between now and 2020. The drivers will be right to work legislation, blue wall regulatory burden and steeply increasing SALT/decreasing state services. Defaults and takings clause lawsuits will increase expenses while loss of tax base will decrease revenue. The real problem is the loss of seats in the house. How will the 2018 election affect the speed of this vicious cycle?

The trouble is that these Democrats moving to red states are making the red states not as red. Reagan won Florida in 1984 with 65%. North Carolina with 65%, SC with 64% and Georgia with 60%. Today Florida and NC are swing states, Trump got about 54% in Georgia and SC and Florida and NC are swing states.
