After decades of the left winning, we do have to watch out for people wanting the pendulum to swing too far the other way.

I think people who burn flags to protest the current administration don't really understand what the flag represents. It represents the entire nation, not merely who happens to be running it at the time. Do we change the flag when we change leaders? No.

And it really doesn't bother me if someone burns a flag. Because that's just it. They're burning "a" flag, not "the" flag. "The" flag is a symbol, an idea and ideas cannot be destroyed.
