What does it mean to you?
That sure sounds familiar. Isn't it a street famous for many wildly ambitious people going there and most of them failing miserably, like some Hollywood-related street in Los Angelos?
It's a Green Day song with a catchy beat?
Or do you mean what it "really" really means?
If I tell you, the little black helicopters will take you to GTMO.
of course some youtube idiot misspelled his name...sighThat sure sounds familiar. Isn't it a street famous for many wildly ambitious people going there and most of them failing miserably, like some Hollywood-related street in Los Angelos?
Boulevard Of Broken Dreams
Tony Bennett
This version did not chart but
In 1934, it was a # 6 hit for Jan Garber
Sung in the film "Moulin Rouge" by Constance (no relation) Bennett
Words by Al Dubin and Music by Harry Warren
I walk along the street of sorrow
The boulevard of broken dreams
Where gigolo and gigolette
Can take a kiss without regret
So they forget their broken dreams
You laugh tonight and cry tomorrow
When you behold your shattered schemes
Gigolo and gigolette
Wake up to find their eyes are wet
With tears that tell of broken dreams
Here is where you'll always find me
Always walking up and down
But I left my soul behind me
In an old cathedral town
The joy that you find here you borrow
You cannot keep it long it seems
Gigolo and gigolette
Still sing a song and dance along
The boulevard of broken dreams
Here is where you'll always find me
Always walking up and down
For I left my soul behind me
In an old cathedral town
The joy that you find here you borrow
You cannot keep it long it seems
But gigolo and gigolette
Still sing a song and dance along
The boulevard of broken dreams

you do know how to use the little arrow on the bottom right? to view more videos? one has to wait until the video is over or fully loaded for the arrow on the bottom right to function as a gallery.
That is cool.
...now, is anyone going to clue me in as to why this is in the Conspriacy section? Or should I just continue to enjoy the bliss of ignorance?
Green Day tune? I beg your pardon?
My favorite rendition is of Tony Bennett doing it
Tony Bennet has made an incredible comeback.
What I find especially odd is that he eclipsed singers of his day who were much more popular than he ever was.
Now speaking as someone who lived through the 60's and eary 70's, what I find disturbing is that Neil Diamond is making a comeback with some young kids, too.
What is wrong with you kids today?
Can't ya'll hear what theatrical nonsense that mediocre talent offers?
What's next kids?
A revival of Gary Pucket and the Union Gap?
