The idea of personal responsibility has been eroded away from our society. We used to let people who overdosed just go ahead and die. Now, we have NARCAN so they can do it multiple times!

Education will not improve until kids are given a fair shot by being raised by parents and not their grandmas, brothers and sisters.

the public school students are out of control. the American students have no discipline. the difference between the American students and the Korean students is night and day.

Part of the student problem falls on the parents who demand that the teachers and administration not discipline the students that misbehave, as well as public schools being mandated to place unruly and autistic kids in the regular classrooms where they disrupt the class and if the schools complain the parents get their way.

I take issue with the system in general but not the Federal Department of Education in particular. I don't know anything about them except that they are not directly involved with classroom education.
