Zone1 The Bible tells us that his world is evil and that it is ruled by Satan

I'm not afraid that human beings are mortal. It happens to be an irrefutable fact.

Religion is nothing but a balm for the things people fear the most. It's the reason humans invented religion in the first place.
You are afraid that the HUMAN SPIRIT is IMMORTAL. Where will you be at your appointed time? If the human spirit does not exist after death........prove through the scientific method located in Applied Science that demonstrates where the energy that animates the flesh goes upon death. The Laws of Physics prove that energy can never be destroyed. The Law of Conservation of Energy.

No it means I think you're funny.
Psychology demonstrates that you are PRETENDING to think something is funny because you are incapable of defending your ideology, you want to PROJECT a logical fallacy. Its called psychological projection through DEFLECTION. Notice how you have ceased your circular ad hominem BS posts and lowered yourself to pretending to laugh? I defend my Faith by presenting to you the Book, Chapter and Verse that objectively demonstrates my position. Its not my ideology, I have pretended to write nothing in the Bible or to suggest that God has promised me anything extra in this reality called life. Why do I continue? I am commanded to always give a reason as to why faith and hope rests in my heart. (1 Peter 3:15).

No such thing as spirit.

That's just another teddy bear for you to hug.

The bioelectricity that the human body runs on is a byproduct of the atoms that make up the human body and their arrangements in the nervous system.

It doesn't magically come from some god. And once the body loses the ability to channel ions the bioelectrical charges stop.

It's not magic.

No it doesn't.

Show me where in psychology does it "demonstrate" that every time a person laughs that he is actually fearful or angry.

This is YOU projecting your fears onto me.

And I have not issued any person attacks on you.

Psychology 101.........laughter hides anger and fear. ;)

Satan and his dark, spiritual, forces, work against us to persuade us to sin and to reject God. God told us so. Let me show you.

1 John 5:19 esv
We know that we are from God, and the whole world lies in the power of the evil one.

Ephesians 6:12 esv
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.

Satan has blinded many to the truth of God.

2 Corinthians 4:4 esv
In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

The world loves its own and hates those who are not of the world but who are, instead, of God.

John 15:19 esv
If you were of the world, the world would love you as its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, therefore the world hates you.

1 John 2:15-17 esv
Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world—the desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride of life—is not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever.

John 17:14 esv
I have given them your word, and the world has hated them because they are not of the world, just as I am not of the world.

Jesus despised the religious leaders of Jerusalem and told them they don't understand him because they are NOT "of God"

John 8:47 esv
Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.
Jesus calls for ALL of us to follow him, including YOU. :)

Matthew 7:7 esv
Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.

Our infinitely loving and merciful father in Heaven sent Jesus to lead us out of darkness and death and into light and eternal life. Jesus is the good news of your salvation for eternity!

John 3:17 esv
For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
No, the Bible doesn't say this world is evil and ruled by Satan. Those passages are not about this world. They're about an ancient temple peoples' world.

Remember this incident?
"Again, the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their splendor. “All this I will give you,” he said, “if you will bow down and worship me.”

Jesus said to him, “Away from me, Satan! For it is written: ‘Worship the Lord your God, and serve him only." Matthew 4:8-10

Notice that Jesus never disputed that 'all the kingdoms of the world' back then did indeed belong to Satan. Since there is a direct line of causes and effects from those governments then to the ones of today it stands to reason that they still belong to Satan, verdad?

They were not looking at all the kingdoms of the world. No one can see the other side of the world, no matter how high the mountain he stands on.

The Bible was speaking figuratively.
How do you know that? Satan was figurative?

The Bible is full of verses that limit the world to the Israelite worldview.

And when they said Satan rules the world, they were writing amongst themselves two thousand years ago. Their world was evil and ruled by Satan.

That's one way to look at it.

Another could be that Jesus understood that God's ways are not necessarily the ways of the world.

Isaiah 55:8-9

“For my thoughts are not your thoughts,
neither are your ways my ways,”
declares the Lord.
“As the heavens are higher than the earth,
so are my ways higher than your ways
and my thoughts than your thoughts.

Jesus was tempted to follow the ways of the world but rebuked the temptation by stating, "Worship the Lord your God and serve him only".

In my humble opinion, there is a difference between thinking that "God's ways are higher than our ways" and saying that "Satan is the ruler of this world".

If you go through life thinking that you live in an evil world, controlled by Satan - aren't you doing the opposite of what Jesus did - which is rebuke the idea that he "follow the ways of the world"?

I think a better way to think of it is that there are temptations and there are adversarial forces in this world but it's up to us to rebuke those. If we simply state, "We live in a world controlled by our adversary (Satan) we aren't rebuking, are we?

The world is an incredibly beautiful place - everything in this world is a miracle - our lives, the air we breathe, the water we drink, the food we eat - the mountains, the valleys, the forests, the rivers, lakes, oceans, and all the life within them - the morning sun to lighten up our blue skies by day and the moon and the stars to illuminate our precious nights. We live in a perfectly balanced eco system to sustain life - our lives.

If you smile at a newborn child, that child will smile back at you. If you take toddlers to a playground, they will play with every child there. So what happens from the time that we are children to adulthood? People stopped smiling at us - so we stopped smiling back. Why? Because we have fallen into the "ways of the world" by thinking that the world is evil and controlled by our adversary.

The world is what we make of it. Yes, there is greed, gluttony, sloth, wrath which can lead to poverty, crime, violence - among other things - and yet, we are capable of rebuking those temptations and living a life in which we "Love our neighbors as ourselves."

The English Standard Version (hereafter referred to as the ESV) is deadly and needs to be exposed! The publishers mislead people when they claim that the ESV is a "word-for-word translation" of the original Greek.1 What they DON'T tell people is that there is a raging debate over which "original" Greek texts are trustworthy. The ESV is based upon an entirely DIFFERENT Greek text than the precious King James Bible. I wouldn't give you a dime for the ESV or any other modern "version" of the Bible, because they're all based upon the corrupt Greek work of heretics Westcott and Hort. Thank God for the reliable King James Bible!

The Bible teaches in John 8:44 that the Devil is a LIAR and the father of all liars. The Bible also teaches in 2nd Corinthians 11:13-14 that Satan masquerades himself as an Angel of Light who relentlessly works to pervert, corrupt and deceive. Satan's teachers are everywhere.

In today's apostate world, few people can distinguish between truth and error. The Word of God is our only defense. This is why Jesus commanded in John 5:39... SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES!!! Is it any wonder why Satan is corrupting the Scriptures to prevent people from obeying Jesus' command in John 5:39? Not at all. The ESV is just another attempt of Satan to malign and twist the Word of God into a lie.

The ESV Corrupts 1st John 5:7

Here's 1st John 5:7 from the ESV...

"For there are three that testify."

Now here's the trustworthy King James Bible...

"For there are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one."

Obviously, the ESV is not anywhere near accurate and is a lie of the Devil. Like all other corrupt modern versions of God's Word, the ESV removes the GODHEAD.

The ESV Corrupts Philippians 2:6

Now here's Philippians 2:6 from the ESV...

"who, though he was in the form of God, did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped,"

Now here's the trustworthy King James Bible...

"Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God:"

Clearly, the ESV robs Jesus Christ of His deity, claiming that He couldn't grasp being equal with God. Yet the King James Bible proclaims that Jesus is Almighty God (Revelation 1:8). God deliver us from the apostasy of our day, from all the Bible-corrupters and Christ-rejecters.

There are THOUSANDS of similar problems with the ESV and a large book could be written exposing it's deceptions and lies. I beseech you my friend, use only the King James Bible (and NOT the New King James Version either, it's corrupted too). Here's a compelling article exposing the numerous problems with the New International Version (NIV) of the Bible. By close comparison, you'll find that the SAME perversions are similar in the ESV and NIV, because they both originate in the same corrupt Greek text of heretics Westcott and Hort.

Lies, Lies and More Lies!

The following is quoted from the official website of the English Standard Version of the Bible...

The English Standard Version (ESV) Bible is a new, essentially literal Bible translation that combines word-for-word precision and accuracy with literary excellence, beauty, and depth of meaning...

SOURCE: Introduction to the ESV Bible

What they DON'T tell you is that they are using the CORRUPTED Greek texts of heretics Westcott and Hort, two unsaved men who hated the Word of God. The King James Bible came from an entirely different Greek text (the Textus Receptus) which originated from Antioch, Syria, where believers were first called "Christians" (Acts 11:26). The corrupted Greek text which Westcott and Hort used originated from Egypt.

Second, the ESV is special because it is a “word-for-word” translation. The Bible says every word was “breathed out by God” (2 Timothy 3:16). For this reason, the ESV seeks to translate the original Greek and Hebrew words with the greatest possible accuracy and precision.

SOURCE: Introduction to the ESV Bible

How can you have "accuracy and precession" if you have a perverted manuscript to begin with?

Third, the ESV is special because it carries forward the great historic stream of Bible versions in English—with literary excellence, beauty, and depth of meaning, in a fresh and compelling way.

SOURCE: Introduction to the ESV Bible

The ESV is a piece of garbage, containing the same lame mumbo-jumbo of the New International Version (NIV). All modern bibles are corrupt because they are all translated from the corrupt Greek texts of Westcott and Hort.

The ESV website further states...

Would you believe it took nearly 500 years to translate the ESV Bible? That’s because the ESV builds on the great translations of the past—including William Tyndale’s New Testament of 1526 and the King James Version (KJV) of 1611.

But the ESV Bible also builds on the best Christian scholarship of the last 100 years. The result is a fresh and compelling Bible translation with a timeless quality, that’s trustworthy and true ...

The result is a Bible that conveys the timeless quality of God’s Word and that remains trustworthy and true to the original words breathed out by God. As Moses wrote more than 3,000 years ago, the words of God are “your very life, and by this word you shall live” (Deuteronomy 32:47).

SOURCE: Introduction to the ESV Bible

What a bunch of rubbish! Please don't be deceived by the rhetoric, the ESV is no better than the perverted NIV. They've even stooped as far as to exploit the scholarship King James Translators...

With the greatest respect for the KJV and deep gratitude to its translators for their work, the English Standard Version Translation Team endeavored to carry on the KJV’s historic translation legacy in a way that is fresh and compelling for today and that will endure for generations to come.

SOURCE: From KJV to ESV: A Historical Legacy

It may all sound good on the surface (and I'm sure a lot of naive people will buy into the lie); but the ESV translators butchered the Word of God, even denying the Lord's deity in Philippians 2:6. Just as with the NIV, the ESV removes the word "worshipped" in Matthew 8:2, replacing it with the weaker word "knelt." Please read, Worship Jesus. Just as with the NIV perversion, the ESV removes important Biblical terms such as: Godhead, Calvary, Lucifer, sodomite, et cetera. I challenge you to compare all the problems with the NIV to the ESV and you'll find a striking similarity.

Beware of the ESV!

The English Standard Version is of the Devil. There's not a more trustworthy Bible available today in English than the precious King James Bible. Homosexuals, Christ-rejecters, sin-lovers, apostates, liberals, ecumenicals, false teachers who teach false gospels, the self-righteous and sinister ministers will love the ESV.

You god created Satan, an immortal being, and then let him have his way with the mortal creations your god supposedly loves.

It's kind of like letting a pedophile babysit your kids.
Satan did not force man to eat the fruit, he ate it of his own accord.

Adam’s failure was not defending the garden from the serpent and his lies.

Satan did not force man to eat the fruit, he ate it of his own accord.

Adam’s failure was not defending the garden from the serpent and his lies.
And one transgression got him punished forever.

So much for forgiveness and love huh?

The ‘bible’ was written by men – reflecting man’s ignorance, fear, stupidity, and hate; so it’s men doing the ‘saying,’ not a deity that doesn’t exist.
So anything written by men is just reflecting their ignorance, fear, stupidity, and hate?

Well…that certainly is true about your posts.

Does the bible tell us that this world is evil or does the bible tell us that everything God created is good?
