I consider this man to have the greatest male voice (in the popular music category) in the world. It is sad to know that his character is almost the total opposite of his voice. He is garbage as a person. What a total dichotomy!
Modern voices just don't seem to measure up to previous generations. Bing Crosby, Sinatra, Presley, Sam Cooke, Otis Redding, Orbison, Tony Bennett, Nat King Cole, Belafonte, Andy Williams, Tom Jones, Dean Martin just off the top of my head all had superior voices to most of the current crop of entertainers.
There are some truly great voices out there but most only have a few truly memorable songs and most aren't doing 'pop'. Josh Groban for instance doesn't do a lot of 'pop' but when he does it become popular fast.
