"Two former officers with the Wilson Police Department (Joshua Taylor and Brandon Dingman) have been found guilty of second-degree murder as well as assault and battery with a dangerous weapon after responding to a call and tasing a man more than 50 times. The officers said that 28 yr-old Jared Lakey didn’t comply with their commands.

Dashboard-camera video obtained by The Washington Post and the officer’s taser data logs, show Taylor deployed his taser 30 times for a total of more than two minutes, and Dingman deployed his taser 23 times for just under two minutes total. Lakey was tased for almost four minutes straight. Both officers face up to 10 years to life in prison for the second degree murder charge, and are scheduled to be sentenced on December 2. An attorney for the Lakey family said; "These officers didn’t violate their policy or training, they tortured Jared precisely because that’s how Wilson, Oklahoma decided to police the community.”

Can you believe the audacity of this guy's family? They have the nerve to attack the police officers instead of putting the blame where it should be...the actions of their thug son who didn't comply with police commands...Maybe they should focus on themselves and what is it about their culture and values that caused them to raise such a thug who has no respect for the law?

Police brought this upon themselves. Many in many local departments there are morons dealing with civilians. In cities they are burnt out in busy areas. Most are used to making caustic comments to civilians as they are protected. We see endless destruction of individuals who did good in their loves by this. But minority intrusions are the abuses broadcast by the media. There will be no healing until those who abused and destroyed in the past over a few decades are taken to judgement as they judged.
