Detroit's doing better...of course their police chief has been telling people to arm themselves.

Funny how that flies directly in the face of what the progressives tell us. How odd..it's almost like they WANT people to be killed in those neighborhoods!

A .45 or 7.62 bullet in Iraq or Iowa travels the same speed. The material that stops them (Kevlar and thick ass steel armor) is the same here and there.

Our PD's are held to city budgets. And almost all are limited. Military surplus is MUCH cheaper than buying new from manufacturer.

Thus, the PD's gladly accept....the same shit the military used to protect themselves from bullets over there...to protect cops from bullets over here. Is some of it oversized and scary looking? Yeah. But it was mostly FREE!!! Unless you tax payers wanna fork over the money to buy body armor for your cops straight from the company, which is 50X more expensive than...well, than free.


I expect all the cop haters to now volunteer to wear blue jeans and a tank top and carry a 6-shooter into some of Americas most violent neighborhoods and do their best Andy Griffith impersonation.
