So the stacked Supreme Court is going to legislate from the bench got it
Um what? There is a law that says "the President may declare a national emergency and build that which he deems necessary to end that national emergency" that law was passed by Congress and signed into law. Therefor Trump actually doing it is ******* legal and no court should be able to tell him he can't.
On the other hand, there is no law which permitted Obama to allow people to sign up en masse so that we wouldn't be deported even though they are living here illegally. Among the very many things Obama did that were Unconstitutional power grabs.
I would declare a national emergency for the environment.
Oh, and what would you build?
And keep in mind of course that if Congress really didn't want let's say a wall built, they could pass a law saying "NO WALL" and then Trump couldn't do shit.
And here's a more important question anyway. Why aren't people angrier at the man and woman who have been in power since the 1980's and haven't done a god damn thing about this problem which has brought us to this point anyway? Maybe a Court should rule that Congress needs to start doing their ******* jobs.
