I love when Christians quote from "Paul's" writings when we don't even know who really wrote them.

The everlasting God has set the rules for admission back into his presence. Not you or anyone else. You cannot save yourself by yourself.

Paul wrote them...There, now you know. Nor, does it matter. The Bible is the word of God.
If only life were so simple.

Did Paul Write “Paul’s Letter to the Ephesians”?

the main reason for thinking that Paul didn’t write Ephesians is that what the author says in places does not gel with what Paul himself says in his own letters. Ephesians 2:1-10, for example, certainly looks like Paul, but just on the surface. Here, as in the letters that Paul himself definitely wrote, we learn that believers were separated from God because of sin but have been made right with God exclusively through his grace, not as the result of “works.” But here, oddly, Paul includes himself as someone who before coming to Christ, was carried away, by the “passions of our flesh, doing the will of the flesh and senses.” This doesn’t sound like the Paul of the undisputed letters, who says that he had been “blameless” with respect to the “righteousness of the law” (Phil. 3:4). In addition, even though he is talking about the relationship of Jew and Gentile in this letter, the author does not speak about salvation apart from the “works of the law”, as Paul does. He speaks instead of salvation apart from doing “good deeds.” That simply was not the issue Paul addressed.

What you see are the writings of a man over time coming to a greater understanding as the Holy Ghost teaches him. Paul understood what James was teaching that faith without works is dead. Paul taught more about the grace provided for us through the atonement of Jesus Christ. It’s not up to us to limit Paul’s growth as an Apostle.
I might add too that the same people who question how many Paul’s there were do the same thing to Isaiah, Moses and so on. The attempt is to try and say this makes the Bible false. Nope. It’s true. And then there’s translation issues. So, it’s true as far as it’s translated correctly. In any event, the 17 points are from the Lord.

The words may be from God but most Biblical scholars agree, they are not from Paul. Was Paul really taught by the Holy Ghost to change his style of writing?

Over time, people’s writing changes. Usually improves especially with more education. The Holy Ghost gave him his visions and possibly angels came and taught him.
Just look at our society and how language and words have changed with slang and education whether good or bad.
I take what “scholars” have to say with a grain of salt. There motivation is generally money through grants and pride. They are from the Lord throught the Holy Ghost then through Paul as the mouthpiece of the Lord. What is stated in any event is true.

You cannot save yourself by yourself.

c-bear just has not been there ...

no one can save someone else the spirit has itself and the heavenly garden, keep holy their sabbath, creation is the path to the heavens.

pubs are in fact frightened by the truth and show their colors when they can not have their selfish ways by truths presence and are guided by their phony, self serving religion.

Always safest to start with the answer and work backwards to the question.

Is the country better off than with Trump? No. The world? No.
Capitalism over Marxism. End of story.

I look back 50 years ago and read things I wrote. How did I get into college? That’s why they had me take bonehead English in Jr. College. Yes, people’s writing, including yours change dramatically over time.

I'm confused, is Ephesians the words of a man or the words of God. If they are the words of God I'd assume his style would not be changing over time. If they are the words of Paul, or whomever, inspired by God, they are an imperfect translation.

Odd that the Bible has errors contradictions between the Gospels if they were indeed the work of God. Also, there is nothing in them about science, technology, or geography that was not known by the writers at that time.

The most unchristian people you will find are those that treat the Bible as scripture .
There are over 80 different Bibles -- each one competing to be more fraudulent than the previous .

You obviously do not understand revelation and how it works. There are instances where the scribe (Apostle) is giving their accounts of what they have witnessed. There are instances where the accounts are given to the Apostle to write down word for word as if the Lord was writing it. Then, there are also prophecies of future events given to the Apostle (prophet) to write down in their own language and understanding for them and the people. With this in mind, to understand the writings of scripture, the Holy Ghost is given to influence understanding that is not up for private interpretations. We may have different views based on our communication with the Godhead as we read and comprehend. Line upon line, precept upon precept…If you do so with real intent to know, without a double mindedness and with complete faith in Christ, you will receive truth and know what I know.

Because of the above, most of what seems to be contradictions are not and can be explained. Mostly from different perspectives and eyewitness accounts. When put together, the complete picture and understanding is received.

Because of your double minded behavior, no faith in Jesus Christ and evil motives, you cannot know the meaning of the scriptures and know they are the words of God.
