And then after all of that it turns out the Republican Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich was having an affair while his wife was dying from cancer.

And isn't it amazing, special counsel Ken Starr ended up apologizing to Bill and Hillary Clinton, admitted the whole investigation was bogus, and even more amazing, Bill Clinton's approval ratings went up after the impeachment trial, of which there was no conviction, and he finished out his second term a successful and popular President.
