God is not religious.
Secular means that there has to be a wall between religion and the state. Otherwise, we become a religious state, and we see how well that works in the Middle East at present and in Europe in the past. Forcing one religions rules to be displayed in schools is a breach in that wall. And that cannot be tolerated.Secular means neutral when it comes to religion, not hostile to religion as you want it.
Do you know what "secular society" mean? And btw, we are NOT a secular society.
We are a society based on western morals and dogma, which is at its heart, based on Greco-Roman, and Judaeo Christian precepts.

I bet nobody here even knows what the fourth commandment means.

Yes a non-answer to a non-question.Another non answer.
It means different things to different people.Do you know what "secular society" mean?
Christ espoused socialist principles as did the early church.
Take just the Sun as an example. IT will not be a decision discussed often yet it is a mirqacle. Hurling throug space as it rotages is the swun we see daily moving at The Sun moves through space at an average speed of about 220 kilometers per second (approximately 490,000 miles per hour) as it orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy. This journey takes the Sun around 225 to 250 million years to complete one full orbit.God is not religious.
IN a secular nation, you are certainly free to believe that.God is not religious.
Surprised you are a Christian.Christ espoused socialist principles as did the early church.
Do you really have an issue with civil rights? That all people are treated fairly? As a white christian male i am a strong believer that we are all created equal. The covil rights movement was a positive part.AND all references to the civil rights movement. or diversity.
As a christian i am not free to espouse my religion on others.IN a secular nation, you are certainly free to believe that.
. . but you are not free to force that belief onto others.
He certainly did not. Nor did the church.Christ espoused socialist principles as did the early church.
Which conservative seminaries in the US encourage this?Surprised you are a Christian.
Acts 2: 45: They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need
Acts 4:32: No one claimed that any of their possessions was their own, but they shared everything they had.
Acts 4:34: For from time to time those who owned land or houses sold them, brought the money from the sales and put it at the apostles’ feet, and it was distributed to anyone who had need.
Who here is an atheist? He certainly did not. Nor did the church.
. . . when atheists presume to lecture folks about the Christ and the church, they just make themselves into fools IMO.
See this post. Not once, in all of the bible, did Christ say that the STATE should have dominion over the souls of those who it ruled.
. . and lets not even get into the early church. . . it supported the ruling class, and was run by the same Roman families that had historically run the Senate. There was no such notion of "socialist principles," involved there.
Where do you get such delusions?
I saw you do that very thing.Which conservative seminaries in the US encourage this?
As I said earlier people interpret God's word as they want it to read, they impose their will upon God's word rather than God's word upon their will.
Surprised you are a Christian.
Do you think you are the only white Christian male who thinks so?Do you really have an issue with civil rights? That all people are treated fairly? As a white christian male i am a strong believer that we are all created equal. The covil rights movement was a positive part.
