As far as Labour in the UK you do need telling otherwise, the Country was built on the labour of the British people from the cotton mills to steel works and shipbuilding and many more such industries over many years, you insult those hardworking people by saying they don't want to work.
Traditionally, the so-called "Labour Party" was founded to represent working-class and trade union interests. But the party's relationship with this demographic has changed significantly over time. Several factors, including policy shifts, demographic changes, and Brexit, have fueled the perception that the party has lost touch with its traditional base.
For most of the 20th century, voting habits in Britain were strongly linked to social class, with the working class predominantly voting Labour. However, since the 1960s, this trend has steadily eroded.
