The repub Party has become the Anti-Democratic Party....plus they are a party of Cowards that like to Hump trump.

No...here is what repubs are doing to keep people from voting:

If approved and signed into law, Texans would no longer be able to take advantage of 24-hour polling sites or cast ballots at drive-through polling places located in parking garages and lots. The bill also bans mobile units or temporary structures from being used as polling places.

The legislation also bars election officials from sending unsolicited mail-in ballot applications to voters and places new requirements on Texans who want to vote through the mail. The removal of disruptive poll watchers would also become tougher under the measure.

Looks logical and NOT voter suppression to me.

It's not that long ago that many states had LITERACY TESTS for voters, and if you didn't pass the test, you couldn't vote.

And when these were struck down, IT WAS NOT BECAUSE THAT WAS AN UNREASONABLE REQUIREMENT! There was and is nothing wrong with requiring that one pass a test in order to vote. They were tossed out because it was proven that certain voting precincts used the tests as a pretext to prevent Negroes from voting.

But the Supreme Court saw nothing wrong or unreasonable in the requirement. Certainly, there was no Constitutional issue with it.

Can you imagine today's Lefties reacting to such a requirement???? Christ, they DEPEND on the votes of illiterates to pad their vote totals.

Voter suppression? Gimmeafukkinbreak.

In past elections, a person who for medical reasons was not able to stand in that long line was able to drive to a designated place, normally curbside of the polling place, and ring a bell, or call a number, or otherwise notify voting officials they were there, and a poll worker would bring their ballot to them, and after it was filled out, would take it back inside. That is no longer possible.

Shove it. The only one of two ways to vote. In person or the voter requests an absentee ballot that arrives at the local board of elections by election day save military or overseas ballots. But that would be the honest way to run an election which is the last thing you left wing jerks want to see happen.
