To address your derailment,
The voters in a majority of states have spoken and say there IS such a thing as medical marijuana.

In my state, what is legally sold as recreational is not hemp.

Addiction is a behavioral thing--and can have just about any focus--if one is prone to that.

Wrong again. Just because modern usage in western culture has mostly fallen to recreational usage right now, you'd be quite wrong that cannabis does not have many medical, religious and cultural uses as well.

And yes, Pot can be addicting. Thing is, it's not that harmful when you're addicted to it. Not like booze or hard drugs. My neighbor is and he's very productive. Works hard, takes care of everything he owns. Decent guy.

The wife and I can sit out back having coffee in the morning and smell it wafting over. We laugh. Good people, they just like to get high all the time.

I don't get it but they're hard-working, productive people.

The two things that have hurt the Republican Party more than any other are -- Marijuana and Abortion.

Without those two issues we would have controlled government for the last 50 years.

When it comes to social issues, Republicans can be very, very stupid sometimes.

People don’t vote on medicine. It requires FDA approval. THC is not medicinal. That’s a ruse.
The link is only part of the story and the first one I could find without a paywall.
The essence of the story is about stopping the widespread acceptance and sale of a dangerous drug.

I grow indoors in the winter, but just to keep the mothers alive. (Light assisted hydro in a greenhouse)
I prefer soil grown sun kissed flowers.
