Texas Gov. Rick Perry Indicted For Abuse Of Power

Which is why major corporations are flocking there.

Yep, see how that works now? When it's about making a buck, you go with the low bidder who fucks the labor and country...

The kind of low unemployment Republicans crave.....

In 1860 30% of the Texas state population of 604,215 were enslaved. In the statewide election on the secession ordinance, Texans voted to secede from the Union by a vote of 46,129 to 14,697 (a 76% majority). The Secession Convention immediately organized a government, replacing Sam Houston when he refused to take an oath of allegiance to the Confederacy.

That's when democrat party ran the state. Republicans saved the nation and freed the slaves:cool:

Nixon's so called "Southern Strategy."

LOL.... You deleted your original response and fell back to the liberal talking points .There is more liberty in Texas than in the leftist nutjob states like California. The Democrat party never gave up slavery willing, and slowly they seek to increase the power of government over our personal, individual liberty. Yep... the Democratic party hasn't changed much......They are still the party of slavery

The thing that is so amazing about this story is the Perry threatened the DA publically.
He is clearly guilty of coercion.

The IRS gave him permission.

.

Not hardly.

Perry is so deluded that when he is convicted, he will say something like, "Jesus was persecuted too."

The case will never be tried. But if it were, commander Zoolander would probably claim to be a Druid and blame global warming. He would become a cultural icon of the loony left at that point.

My concern is Perry being indicted for political policy. That is reviewable at election time, not by indictment. Yes, Texas spends little per capita on education. The sheer size of the state and numbers of out of state workers eats up money. Add in the immigrants crossing the border, another big chunk or money goes to what are in reality, transients.

11.4 million Americans age 16 and over have left the workforce since President Obama took office in January 2009, according to data released today from the Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS). Aug. 1, 2014

In July 2014, there were 92,001,000 Americans, 16 and over, who were classified as “not in the labor force,” meaning they not only did not have a job, but they didn’t actively seek one in the last four weeks.

This number has increased by 11,472,000 since January 2009, when the number of Americans not in the labor force was 80,529,000.
