Most controversially, it allows almost anyone in Texas from filing a civil lawsuit against abortion providers and those who aid a woman seeking an abortion after the six-week mark. The person bringing suit would not have to be connected in any way to have legal standing to sue, and plaintiffs could be awarded at least $10,000 plus attorney’s fees if they win.

Texas put this in to avoid being sued itself. But there's no basis for letting anyone sue for anything unless they can show some damage to their person or property.

Now personally, I truly hope GA and Fla and SC and Tenn and Ala (them ferren car plants) and Lerrisianna wit dat pert do the same thing. That'll put the kern cob up sum cracker asses.
