The only other people who conveniently came up with that testimony only did so years later after he rec'd a 1,5 million dollar settlement.....and it was Michael, his brother and his sister in law. All had motive to lie.
You keep saying that, however M.S. got $300,000 not 1.5 million. The settlement was 2 million, the lawyers got about half. $750,000 was setup to pay medical bills, and M.S. received the remaining $300,000. The schism with the parents started shortly after that after refusing to give the parents a cut.
Like I said, he should have divorced her. If he had wanted to move on, divorcing her and leaving her care to someone else would have been the appropriate thing to do.
Can't get a 1.5 million dollar settlement that way though.
The malpractice case was settled long before the 1998 request to allow Terri's body to not be maintained via artificial means.
The bodies continued existence at that point had nothing to do with a case that had already been settled.
