Terri Schiavo's Husband: Jeb Bush 'Put Me Through Hell'

Why would a "Native American" poster who has allegedly been the victim of male based white racism and the evils of white racist and sexist based administrations be on the side of white power based decision that starved a woman to death in a decision that made it convenient for her husband to go on with his life?

The convenient decision to go on with his life would have been to take the money from the malpractice case that had already been settled and then to get a divorce and turn her care over to the parents and then go with life.

He didn't, he chose to stay married and fight for her wishes - to not be kept in such a state.

My wife and I are a little older, and hopefully wiser, and so have out wishes in writing.

I to would not divorce my wife and walk away from what she wanted if the same were to happen to her - if her family were to fight to keep her body alive when she herself were already dead, they would have a fight on their hands. I love her to much to take the easy way out.

Um, he was having sex with another woman. He's disgusting. He could have let her parents care for her. She wouldn't have lived long anyways.

So you are more concerned with him, after 8-years, having sex with another woman then you are about the fact they he didn't take the easy way out and fought for her wishes.

He could have walked away easily but didn't, he fought for what she wanted.

BTW - You realize it was 15-years between illness onset and the time the feeding tube was removed. Any medical reason that if the feeding tube had left in place that her body "wouldn't have lived long anyways"?

What would have been wrong with letting her parents care for her for the rest of her life. She probably wouldn't have lived very long anyways. I think the guy is a cold-hearted prick.
Because he and others knew that is not what Terri would have wanted - and the judge agreed.
Well, I don't think it's right that he was the final decision maker, given that he was having an affair. Why don't you try putting yourself in the place of her parents for a while? How do you think they felt? They wanted to take her home and care for her during her final days. He didn't allow that.
When a person gets married the spouse becomes the immediate next of kin and legally makes all decisions when a person can't speak for themselves. Such as Terri Schaivo.

When she got married her parents lost all rights as immediate next of kin.

So for them to be able to take her home, Michael would have to be dead. When he dies the immediate next of kin becomes the parents. Or the parents could go to court to get custody. Which they tried to do TWICE. Both times the judge ruled in Michael's favor. So if a judge wasn't willing to give the parents custody not once but TWICE that's a big red flag that you're wrong and the law was on Michael's side.

Seriously here, you might want to learn the honest and true facts of this case before you say that it wasn't right he had the final decision in the matter.

Have you ever been married? If so you sure don't post like it. All married people know that the spouse makes all the legal decisions when the other spouse is not able to do so themselves.

Because Michael wouldn't let them. He wouldn't divorce her and wouldn't give up custody and oddly it was for the same reason that the Schindlers wanted to keep her alive....because she might wake up and reveal the truth about what happened to her. It's why Michael wanted to murder her and her family wanted her protected.

So he spent two years paying for therapy and taking her to doctors because he didn't want her to wake up? Really?

Okay, to put this to rest. From FOX NEWS, no Less.

Autopsy Schiavo Was Not Abused Fox News

I don't know if he was an abusive husband or not, but come on! Why would he completely disrespect her parents' wishes? They wanted to take care of her on their own dime. They LOVED her.

Her parents and siblings all testified to the abuse. And as is all too typical of domestic abuse that's not punished, eventually it turned to murder.

The autopsy showed NO signs of abuse.

Autopsy: Schiavo Was Not Abused - Fox News

That doesn't mean she wasn't abused. Why would her family say that? Are you saying they were lying?
anecdotal evidence much? :eusa_eh: If fox said it, you can bet your ass its true missy ChrisL because EVERYBODY knows they're the communications arm of the GOP. The Repub party banked on scoring cheap political points off of dragging the husband through living hell & they were wrong.

If I am lying crybaby why are the mods still letting me post? Because they know, we all know you edited and deleted posts in this thread

They are watching you. BTW, what haven't you provided any proof of any posts I have supposedly edited or deleted?

There's no way to prove you edited your posts, you asshole!
I guess we have to screen shot the ops post from now on, because he loves to edit his posts and delete them when we burn him

If he allowed her to be kept alive, there was a chance, no matter how medically small, that she might recover and tell the truth about what happened to her. It's the reason many murders occur, to silence a witness.

Duh.

Yeah, tech savvy people know how to search the internet for previous pages that were altered or deleted. Unfortunately that's not me.

God bless Tom Brady and the New England Patriots - and may they beat the shit out of the Seattle Seahawks tomorrow. I'll be eating pizza and "veggies"...

And abusers are all about control. He was showing her family just who was in control. He is a sick douchebag...that apparently we are supposed to care about for some reason. Not.

You know she is dead right? So remind me again.what living hell he is going through ******* his girlfriend and what living hell.her parents go through every day?

Remind me again what pain is worse, you stupid mother ******

He ******* killed her with the courts help, if that's not abuse while ******* his girlfriend, I don't know what is.

We are a nation of laws. Why do you hate the Constitution? What's wrong with him ******* his girlfriend - if he was? Would have rather he just jacked off?

It seems like he wanted her out of the way. Why would he disrespect her parents' wishes? A parent's love is unconditional.

**** the parents! He was Terri's husband. Don't you believe in marriage?

Exactly.

When she turned 18 the parents stopped having any say in her life.

When she got married her parents stopping having any rights to custody.

Terri's husband would have had to die first, then her parents would have been the next of kin to take custody of her.

But hey, right wing extremists don't believe they have to follow our laws.

No matter how much factual evidence you present to these people you will never get them to see the truth.

They just prefer to call people murders, abusers and bash anyone who is not a far right wing extremist.

Too bad the husband wasn't more sympathetic to the parents' position. Anyone who is a parent would understand and feel for those parents. I think he is a rotten excuse for a human being.

I am a parent and I understand what they went through.

I've had to watch as my grandmother was only given air as she laid dying. We had no say in anything because she had a living will. So we had to let her suffer until she died. I will have to do the same with my mom in a few years. Her living will says only air. And even if she didn't have one, all of us in my family would still only give her air and not hook her up to any machines or do anything to prevent her from being laid to rest. We would do that because like Michael, we've been told by her that is what she would want.

My husband faced something like this with me in 2009. I was in a coma, I had a living will but it was 3000 miles away in our safe in our home. So he had to make all the decisions for me while I was in that coma. And yes, the doctors asked him for that living will. They didn't think I was going to wake up.

If I had not woken up, he would have pulled all the plugs to all the machines I was hooked up to and it would have been the exact thing I would have wanted him to do.

The problem was that the parents couldn't let go. Terri was dead. The fact that her brain had liquified proves that. The brain doesn't revert to that state in a living person.

The only reason she still had a beating heart was because of modern technology. If the technology wasn't available at the time, Terri Schaivo would have been pronounced dead when she was first taken to the hospital and then property laid to rest after.

No parent wants their child to die before them. Everyone understands that. However there's a time to let go. The parents couldn't let go. They put their son in law and our nation through hell because they couldn't let go.

You didn't have a motive to murder your grandmother. The analogy goes right out the window.

Sorry for your loss, though.
