Terri Schiavo's Husband: Jeb Bush 'Put Me Through Hell'

Terri Schiavo's husband is an ass. He could have just let her parents take over and let them make decisions. The mother was fighting for her daughter to stay on life support, but the husband couldn't stand the woman still being around. I know it was his decision, but he could have made arrangements with her mother to relieve himself of all responsibility.

Maybe he was just anxious for the life insurance money, if there was any. I would have let the mom do what made her feel better. Thing is, he could have walked away and gone on with his life instead of fighting with his mother-in-law.

So much spin and justification for murder

Unbelievable
The left is going to have to do better than glorifying a wife abuser and murder.

If you have evidence of that, please go to the police in florida and let them know.
Neurologist testified during her trial that she had neck injuries caused by strangulation. It's documented.

Prove it. The official autopsy said no signs of abuse or strangulation.
Try reading all of the court documents dumbass. This case went on for twelve years.

Please tell us, with "credible" proof, what other money that Michael Schiavo was awarded.

Wouldn't you think an alleged Native American female victim of society would be on the side of Terry Schiavo rather than her (white) husband and the (corrupt?) system that ordered her execution? Politics makes strange bedfellows and be careful what you wish for.

What would have been wrong with letting her parents care for her for the rest of her life. She probably wouldn't have lived very long anyways. I think the guy is a cold-hearted prick.

Because he and others knew that is not what Terri would have wanted - and the judge agreed.

I think this is terrible. If her parents wanted to take care of her, why would they not be allowed to do so?
Because she was dead – there was no one to 'take care of,' and because her husband was following his wife's wishes.

Bullshit. You don't get to state that like it's fact. According to HIM, she wanted to die, how convenient. He and his lying brother testified she told them this, but they both have plenty of motive to lie about it. There's no document, no recording, no actual proof that she said she wanted to die, so no to what you just said.

Yeah. Convenient how he suddenly remembered that after never once mentioning that for the twelve years he sought a 20 million dollar settlement... Until he lost of course.

Why would a "Native American" poster who has allegedly been the victim of male based white racism and the evils of white racist and sexist based administrations be on the side of white power based decision that starved a woman to death in a decision that made it convenient for her husband to go on with his life?

Well, I don't think it's right that he was the final decision maker, given that he was having an affair. Why don't you try putting yourself in the place of her parents for a while? How do you think they felt? They wanted to take her home and care for her during her final days. He didn't allow that.

So he spent two years paying for therapy and taking her to doctors because he didn't want her to wake up? Really?

Okay, to put this to rest. From FOX NEWS, no Less.

Autopsy Schiavo Was Not Abused Fox News

I don't know if he was an abusive husband or not, but come on! Why would he completely disrespect her parents' wishes? They wanted to take care of her on their own dime. They LOVED her.

Her parents and siblings all testified to the abuse. And as is all too typical of domestic abuse that's not punished, eventually it turned to murder.

The autopsy showed NO signs of abuse.

He ******* killed her with the courts help, if that's not abuse while ******* his girlfriend, I don't know what is.

We are a nation of laws. Why do you hate the Constitution? What's wrong with him ******* his girlfriend - if he was? Would have rather he just jacked off?

It seems like he wanted her out of the way. Why would he disrespect her parents' wishes? A parent's love is unconditional.

**** the parents! He was Terri's husband. Don't you believe in marriage?

Exactly.

When she turned 18 the parents stopped having any say in her life.

When she got married her parents stopping having any rights to custody.

Terri's husband would have had to die first, then her parents would have been the next of kin to take custody of her.

But hey, right wing extremists don't believe they have to follow our laws.

No matter how much factual evidence you present to these people you will never get them to see the truth.

They just prefer to call people murders, abusers and bash anyone who is not a far right wing extremist.

Too bad the husband wasn't more sympathetic to the parents' position. Anyone who is a parent would understand and feel for those parents. I think he is a rotten excuse for a human being.

And he was a perfect match for his "when's that ***** going to die" girlfriend. Amazing how evil people attract each other like that.

The convenient decision to go on with his life would have been to take the money from the malpractice case that had already been settled and then to get a divorce and turn her care over to the parents and then go with life.

He didn't, he chose to stay married and fight for her wishes - to not be kept in such a state.

*****************************
My wife and I are a little older, and hopefully wiser, and so have out wishes in writing.

I to would not divorce my wife and walk away from what she wanted if the same were to happen to her - if her family were to fight to keep her body alive when she herself were already dead, they would have a fight on their hands. I love her to much to take the easy way out.

Michael Schiavo: A refusal to quit in the face of threats, anguish and vitriol

He's been vilified on Web sites and talk shows. He's been called a wife-abuser, an adulterer, a money-grubbing murderer.

Death threats have been left in his mailbox.

Throngs of protesters have waved signs and chanted outside his house in Clearwater, Fla., and they have gathered again.

Sometimes, even Michael Schiavo's friends have wondered why, in the face of all that, he didn't just walk away.

It would have been easier for him to relinquish guardianship of his severely incapacitated wife, Terri, to her parents.

So why not give it up, leave Terri's feeding tube in, let her parents care for her? After all, he is living with another woman now and they have two children.

"Because he's sticking by what he promised," Scott Schiavo, Michael's brother, said in a recent interview. "He wants to honor the last thing he can give to her."

Physicians have testified that Terri Schiavo is in a persistent vegetative state and will never improve. Michael Schiavo has said his wife told him she would not want to live like this.

Terri was very fortunate to have such a loyal husband and guardian. We should all be so lucky.
