She's actually a poster child for why EVERYONE should have a living will. She didn't, which is why the case was so difficult. The only people who said she told them she would want to die if in a PVS have motive to lie about it. Most likely, like most everyone, Terri never expressed a desire one way or the other, not wanting to dwell on such a morbid subject. That's the way most people are, never thinking about worst case scenarios until they happen.
