Tell me this BIASED reporting DOES NOT affect political opinion???

Healthmyths original post: 100% irrefutable spot-on!

Who says that? I've always maintained that what is portrayed in popular media and on the news effects opinions and behavior. I thought that was obvious.

Well the right tells everyone that it doesnt but ONLY when discussing Citizens United. They say that money, the media etc doesnt change or effect anyones opinion

Unless they want to ***** about a NBC or something...then it does. Somehow, thats different

I've hadn't seen anyone try to make that point until you just did.

He is leaving out the part that says well informed voters on the issues. :)

The mere fact that conservative radio is so successful is proof positive of a left wing bias in mainstream media. Conservative radio fills a void. That's why left wing radio failed. It's redundant.
With several Watergates going on right now -- all of which dwarf the original Watergate -- this president should have quit by now if he'd been challenged and if he had an ounce of integrity. But the current generation of hypocritical Woodward's and Bernstein's are in on it this time around with R'Shard Nixon. Not only do they not investigate, they go out of their way to cover his ass.

Why don't you conservatives dismiss O'Reilly as a biased source the same way you dismiss mediamatters as a biased source when they do stories about conservative bias in the media?

I don't totally disagree with that. But on this issue O'Reilly is accurate. For another thing, MM is tax exempt and O'Reilly isn't.

O'Reilly was using a really retarded tactic. He was comparing how many minutes were aired when the Christie story broke, and did not compare that to how many minutes were aired about the IRS scandal when it broke. He compared breaking news about the bridge scandal to a much later development well into the IRS story.

Apples and oranges. He's a pinhead.

Only the most credulous of rubes would fall for that shit and actually forget how much coverage has been given to the IRS scandal. That's the willful amnesia of a piss drinking retard right there.

Yes, O'Reilly has....an......AGENDA:eusa_shhh: I still like Christie better than say, Huckabee, however.

When I read US TODAY the last two days...not a single line of coverage in regards to the ongoing IRS hearings. Not one line. How can that be? Who's in charge over there to make the call that the things they put into the paper those two days were more "newsworthy" than a major scandal?

The lack of coverage on these scandals has reached the level of farce...

TV brainwashes people, what is new.

If you get your opinions and views of the world from the mainstream media like Fox, MSNBC, BBC, CNN,etc then you aren't going to know much about reality.

Why don't you conservatives dismiss O'Reilly as a biased source the same way you dismiss media matters as a biased source when they do stories about conservative bias in the media?

Because O'Reilly is giving his opinion, not the news.
Media matters is all opinion.

So as a "non-profit" they don't pay any taxes that take care of roads, schools, etc.. that they and their kids use!

Sounds like Obama's comment..."If you were successful, somebody along the line gave you some help. There was a great teacher somewhere in your life. Somebody helped to create this unbelievable American system that we have that allowed you to thrive. Somebody invested in roads and bridges. If youÂ’ve got a business -- you didnÂ’t build that."

See it sounds like people like you are proud of non-profits and hate the "for-profits" right?

Seems to me that without the "for profits" PAYING the taxes that "non-profits" don't have to PLUS where do the "non-profits"
get their revenue which doesn't have to have "profit" to pay taxes!

Yea naive people regarding non-profits are what is causing most of our smaller businesses in going out of business.

Yes he did and you yourself just put up the proof of it. 3 to 5 min. on the IRS scandal when it broke, 112 min on Christie.

The far left Obama drone often post things that they think proves their comments and stance, but more often or not it defeats all their talking points and propaganda.

Media matter funded by George Soro, but het the far left will ignore anything factual that how how hypocritical they are.

I was changing channels recently and one of the evening MSNBC shows was still
covering the bridge scandal...

Unfuckinbelievable! MSNBC is a joke.

Another tard who believes the media only covered the IRS scandal for a total of four and a half minutes.

That takes about seven pounds of brain damage to believe that!!!

Really? The media has only talked about the IRS scandal for four and a half minutes? I debunked that bullshit in my first few posts.

Seriously, you have to have seven pounds of brain damage to buy O'Reilly's bullshit.

Wow. It is incredibly frightening you actually believe this.

I am not even kidding.

Look at the dates of the you tube links you put up.

I love the "he's just a commentator" dodge. It's like when Jon Stewart says "I'm just a comedian" to avoid ownership of his political influence.
