Ted Cruz introduces "EL CHAPO Act" to pay for the wall

Ted Cruz has sold out. A wall is a waste of money and conservatives should be against it when it can be done more cheaply. That money should go to reduce the deficit.

You are stupid and know jack shit about which you speak. Stop taking your propaganda by the spoonful from Hannity and go find a clue.
I do have a clue; why not have Hannity, come down here in the "trenches" and argue it with us, here?

We should be solving our illegal problem on a permanent basis via the federal powers already delegated in our federal Constitution, at our federal borders, not the interior.

But that's never how it was done. Laws were drawn up and passed to deal with wet backs in the interior. Hannity all but ignores those laws. This Enforcement needs to go beyond a wall and E-verify. A zero tolerance policy needs to be leveled at employers that makes it so they won't survive multiple violations. Fine an employer $10,000 for each illegal on the pay roll and $50,000 for every set back with stolen I9 documents. As for the wet backs, order federal prosecutors to prosecute to the fullest extant of the law. Do the same with wet backs. Charge and prosecute for false I9's. Hell, wouldn't even have to make new laws.
Did you know that freedom of association and contract is the law of the land?

Senator Ted Cruz wants to use assets seized from drug lords such as El Chapo, the Mexican kingpin who was recently extradited to the U.S., to pay for border security and the border wall.

  • The idea: U.S. prosecutors are seeking $14 billion in drug profits and other assets from El Chapo. They also routinely seize the assets of other drug dealers and traffickers.
  • The Cruz quote: "Fourteen billion dollars will go a long way toward building a wall that will keep Americans safe and hinder the illegal flow of drugs, weapons, and individuals across our southern border."
  • The acronym's meaning: Ensuring Lawful Collection of Hidden Assets to Provide Order
  • Why it matters: President Trump is trying to figure out how to pay for his border wall, which will require American taxpayers to front the bill, but Republicans aren't helping at the moment.

Great idea.

It's another one of Ted Cruz's dog & pony shows to capture the attention span of the gnats that usually surround him--that flew off with Trump last year. They never did find El Chapo's MONEY.

Congress isn't going to appropriate money for a worthless wall.

The ins and outs of U.S.-Mexico border tunnels

things El Chapo learned while in NYC:

_after all the hype, the "Naked" Cowboy in times square is wearing freakin' underwear!

_it's hard to get a good chalupa south of Houston Street.

_correctional guards in NY are way more expensive to bribe.

_Uber does not provide "escape vehicles"

That money is in banks we can't touch or invested in legal American corps.

Asset seizure laws are great.... back when Drug King pins lived in Miami and drove Lamborghinis.

The wall is a part of the solution and no one can find a reasonable solution to illegals crossing that border without it. It is conservatives who oppose the wall who have sold out.

Only a moron thinks a wall will stop people from coming here.

Drugs travel in hidden compartments in trucks crossing the border every damn day. No wall is going to stop them.
