Teacher Forced to Remove Charlie Kirk Poster

Well...I think some day it will...in view of the other people posted.

For now Charlie assassination is still a hot potato and the school does need to be invaded by LIBs with to much time on thier hands.

I did not know who he really was until about of week before his murder.

I support his platform / memory 100% !

Feed back not necessary but cyber appreciated.

On who to get mad at or do you agree that they should be able to do this?

Governed by the FEDs...the less of them in our schools the better.

But of course there should always be that line.

I don't know if all of them do but most school dist have a school board.

I think any problems should be resolved there. (if possible)

I sort of see your point but what about freedom of speech?

So much for freedom of speech? Right democrats?

Ah, there was nothing partisan nor political in the CK quote.

The school would put up a quote from MLK Jr in a second without another thought, yet much of King's life was bound up in politics too.

That's your opinion. That might not be everyone's opinion.

My opinion is no different than any intellectually honest or reasonable person's opinion would be.

The quote is: “Never underestimate the power of your voice and the impact you can have on the world when you speak up for what you believe in."

What is political about that? What is partisan about that? What is controversial about that?

Certainly it is no more so than a Martin Luther King quote or a Ronald Reagan quote or a JFK quote in the same classroom that the teacher was not required to take down.

Such quotes are to stimulate thought, consciousness, encourage reasoned discussion etc.

As the commentary from the teacher says, he has lots of inspirational posters from many different sources in his classroom. And the Fox commentary is spot on. The Charlie Kirk poster and quote was in no way political, partisan, or controversial.

It's too bad when a totally deranged and intellectually inconsistent/dishonest left continues to try to squelch anything good and wholesome in this country and push everything that isn't good and wholesome. Unfortunately that is what continues to dominate far too much of U.S. education and it will take quite a bit of time to eradicate it as a driving force in our culture.
It amazes me that Charlie Kirk is at all controversial to the left. But here we are.

Charlie definitely held a few policy opinions that the left didn't/doesn't like. But those were his opinions and he never demanded that anybody else was required to share them. Most of his policy positions were what any honorable American could at least acknowledge were reasonable even if they didn't completely agree with him.

But when dealing with the rabid, highly partisan, TDS afflicted American left, I'm not sure we can find much that is honorable in that.
