Teacher Forced to Remove Charlie Kirk Poster

No he's not. Lincoln wanted to ship the slaves back to Africa
Charlie was accused of being racist because he was racially neutral, i.e. believe that skin color should be of no more importance than eye color or hair color and that all citizens should be seen truly as equals. And there was no discrimination at his rallies, conferences, Q&As and such.

Must suck for you to have such an angry, empty life.

Pray for him...I know what he is going thru.

There was a point in my cyber life that when I posted...everything was related to Bob Dylan.

Big Fire in Malibu Bob Dylan could not be reached for comment.

That is where him main home is.

Guess what...I bought a new Dylan shirt on ebay.

I just read Bob Dylan smoked a joint with ObamaChrist.

I was lucky my fixation just went away. The guy with 3 IDs who is obsessed at portraying blacks as victims / whites are blue eye devil...IMHO will need some serious help.

I don't see anything wrong with that particular quote by CK.

What are your thoughts on these quotes and if you think it should be allowed in the classroom.

"It's not what you take when you leave the world behind you, it's what you leave behind you when you go."

"Go confidently in the direction of your dreams. Live the life you have imagined."

"Peace begins with a smile."

"By failing to prepare, you are preparing to fail."

"The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams."

"You’ll never find a rainbow if you’re looking down."

My opinion is no different than any intellectually honest or reasonable person's opinion would be.

The quote is: “Never underestimate the power of your voice and the impact you can have on the world when you speak up for what you believe in."

What is political about that? What is partisan about that? What is controversial about that?

Certainly it is no more so than a Martin Luther King quote or a Ronald Reagan quote or a JFK quote in the same classroom that the teacher was not required to take down.

Such quotes are to stimulate thought, consciousness, encourage reasoned discussion etc.
I have no problem with it, because it is a great quote. Why would you have this quote in a classroom? How does it impact the student's education?

My guess is that pumpkinhead googles Charlie Kirk every day to develop a trolling post no matter how obscure.
How is it trolling? Because leftists are forced to defend their insanity?
No odys forcing you to add your 2cents

I just don't understand the culture of victimhood.

Kirk was a hater of empathy and minorities, he was no Christian, unless he was a Southern Baptist.

It the same thing as a gay pride flag. It serves no educational purpose. Should not be there.

Note the article did not mention what subject he teaches. If he teaches health, it would not be appropriate. nor if he taught English, math, or science.

No, political statements are totally inappropriate in a classroom.

Charlie definitely held a few policy opinions that the left didn't/doesn't like. But those were his opinions and he never demanded that anybody else was required to share them. Most of his policy positions were what any honorable American could at least acknowledge were reasonable even if they didn't completely agree with him.

But when dealing with the rabid, highly partisan, TDS afflicted American left, I'm not sure we can find much that is honorable in that.
You will find no honor in the lies he projected.

If that is true why did he always focus on folks of color? WTF is racially neutral?

I don’t know that much about him.

But there is more than enough video to support you point.

Show your evidence that he 'focused on folks of color.' I have watched/listened to/read a LOT of Charlie Kirk commentary and that just wasn't there.

It is 'education' because it encourages a student to think outside the box. To think bout how he/she is not insignificant or unimportant. That he/she can make a difference.

Especially in a history class where a creative educator knows that history is made up of far more than just dates, names of events, occurrences, but factors in all of human creativity, ingenuity, imagination, beliefs, points of view, understanding that make up human culture and how all that results in the history that we have.

I see it as a case of principle vs practice. In principle, teachers should not bring their politics or religion into the classroom. In practice, however, many do, and if this school does allow all the de rigueur BLM and gay pride stuff, they are acting in a prejudicial fashion here.

I would like to see cases such as this used as a springboard for addressing all the leftist indoctrination, myself. Schools do not need competing ideologies. They need to remove the ideologies and concentrate on teaching.
