You see, when people start objecting to paying more taxes, the left freaks out. They need OUR money to buy votes. They have made careers out of convincing some people that they cannot survive without government and it takes more and more to keep them happy. When anyone threatens to stop tax increases, they immediately start the spin machine and refer to the workers as racists. After all, anyone who wants to keep more of what they earn instead of subsidizing able-bodied people is an enemy of the left. Since they have convinced enough people that they are entitled to other people's money, you will be accused of racism or greed for not wanting to be robbed so Dem voters can live better than you.

The left pretends that they rob the rich to help the poor, but the truth is that they never go after the wealthy. They go after middle class, even low middle class, who often sacrifice to pay those taxes.
