These people don't get it. They hurt others as well not just themselves.

I'm willing to wager that often someone hands them a bag of cash and tells them "just cancel this event and this cash is yours".

I've learned that most men lack a backbone so they won't just cancel without some personal benefit 90% of the time.

What messae they send? None.

It's different if someone tells you to commit a crime or engage in harm against others. If your job is to be a performer, then well, perform!

There is doubtful anything allowing the musician to drop his contract because they changed the name.
