trump has pretty much killed the Kennedy Center

Lowest audience ever for the Kennedy Center Honors program on CBS.

Kennedy Center Christmas Eve jazz concert canceled after Trump name added to building

Recent Cancellations & Reasons:
  • Christmas Eve Jazz Concert (Dec 2025): Canceled by host Chuck Redd after the announcement to add Trump's name to the building.
  • Kristy Lee Concert (Jan 2026): Folk singer canceled her January show, stating she wouldn't compromise her integrity, reports Syracuse.com.
  • Hamilton Tour: The popular musical skipped its planned run, reports The New York Times.
  • Eureka Day & Finn Musical: Cancellations of these shows were cited as financial by the Center but followed the leadership change, according to Playbill and BBC News.
  • WorldPride Events: Some events were canceled or moved, reports NOTUS.
What now? All Lee Greenwood all the time? Monster truck rallies? Maybe Kid rock can team up with ted Nugent and they can poop their pants in synchronization?
This would have been great in the 1960's

Great news! But the Trump/Kennedy Center will live on, just without all the woke entertainment.
Anything the cultists dont like is woke.

Which means, anything tied to anyone or anything who doesn't kiss their Daddy's ring.

In case anyone was wondering what that word means, when it slithers out of their mouths.

Congress has decided
it to leave the rest
up to the wild imaginations
of Hollywood
& the ghost of political dramas past.

Maybe both.
It blows me away that we, as a nation, have completely missed the significance of the Epstein files. Dems are only interested in smearing Trump, while Republicans do the denial dance. But the fact remains that Epstein was collecting dirt on some of the most powerful people on the planet, dirt we'll never see. Someone has it, and thus has leverage on all these people.

Epstein is dead
Larry Sinclair is the story.
& subud, obama's trick uncle.

Ticket sales at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts have been plunging since it was befouled?

Where are the MAGA patrons? Culture haters or just broke? Both, perchance?

Any court action would have to take into account the material breach of contract on the part of the KC. When the agreements were made, it was an honor to play at the Kennedy Center. Now with the blob’s name on it, playing there would tarnish any performer who shows up. The paradigm changed when the name changed.

Nothing you people won't make excuses for.
Not sure what I'm excusing? No gay pedo shows at the Kennedy Center? The other folks canceled on their own because their TDS won't allow them to perform at a venue that has Trump's name on it. I expect you will be chiding them for making excuses to pull out any minute now.

And regarding your sig about society not being mine to mold, I have a question. What exactly does it mean to concede? If Biden wants to let in 12 million illegals and Trump zero, do we compromise and let in say 6 million?

I agree that no one can win a culture war. But election can be won and Trump won the last one. Deal.

Artist cancelled really because of nobody buying tickets to see communist.
“The Cookers, Kristy Lee and Chuck Redd have all canceled their shows,” noted the Daily Mail. “Combined, the performers have just over 15,000 monthly listeners on Spotify. Meanwhile, Miranda Lambert, who just performed at the Kennedy Center Honors this month, boasts 5.5 million monthly listeners.”

“Doug Varone and Dancers, a niche dance troupe, has also canceled its concert,” it continued.

Well guess what? Trump does a lot of things you aren't going to hear about for years.

Of course. But if you are making a case, you have to find and report some of those things. YOu can't just point to a meeting and assume... life long alliance.

You are playing the silly game of being gullible.

You should watch While the Rest of Us Die on Vice. They lay it all out for you. They tell you the historic facts that absolutely did happen in the past. The Sugar Corporations got a hold of our politicians, and in the next few decades their product ends up in EVERYTHING we eat and obesity skyrocketed. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to put 2 and 2 together. But you, suddenly you aren't an anti government conspiracy theorist. It's because you truly don't think Trump will go along just like Obama, Biden and Bush did.

THe role of sugar in our bad diet, and the bad government policy that supports it, NOW you are citing observable reality. You should not have mentioned Trump in that bit at all, he was still working in tv at that time, if not a baby shitting in his diaper.

You want to talk to me about fighting sugar? I'm very open to that.

You want to use that, to undermine the President that is fighting against very, very anti-American and Anti-white racism?

Then **** no.

The episode is about our food. The other episode I saw yesterday was aboutvatizing pri our energy and what a bad idea that is. Texas, has all that oil and the most wind mills and yet when the cold came in, the private corporation was not prepared. And Texas is not on the grid. So your Republican ways led to needless deaths. All to save rich people money. Corporations.

The republican fixation on privitazation is... not always on point.

They way that you dems have demonstrated that any public money, you might use to advance your lefty and anti-American and racist agenda?

Makes it easy to get sucked into reducing government a ******* LOT.

But, you want to talk to me about a government power grid, I can be convinced.

You might want to lose the class warfare talk. Good way to turn me off.

Can you focus on the issue and not use it to advance your marxist ideas?

"While the rest of us die energy texas" refers to the devastating 2021 Texas winter storm and power grid failure, highlighted in a VICE TV documentary titled "While the Rest of Us Die", which explored how the state's deregulated, isolated grid failed, leading to hundreds of deaths from cold, hypothermia, and lack of power, while raising questions about energy regulation, renewable energy blame, and the vulnerability of critical infrastructure. The crisis showed Texas's unique power system struggled under extreme demand, impacting millions and highlighting systemic issues in energy preparation.
  • Texas operates its own independent power grid (ERCOT), preventing it from easily borrowing power from other states during emergencies, unlike interconnected grids.
  • Systemic Failure: The outages weren't solely from renewables; power plants (natural gas, coal, nuclear) failed due to frozen equipment and lack of fuel, alongside wind/solar shutdowns.
  • High Demand: Record cold sent electricity demand soaring, overwhelming the capacity, with some estimates suggesting the grid was minutes from total collapse.
  • Human Cost: Over 200 deaths (some estimates higher) occurred due to hypothermia, carbon monoxide poisoning from using grills indoors, and lack of medical power.
  • Financial Impact: The crisis resulted in massive energy bills, with some companies going bankrupt and consumers facing huge costs.
  • Political Debate: The event sparked debates over deregulation, federal oversight, and the role of renewable energy, with officials blaming renewables while critics pointed to systemic failures.
They also pointed out if these corporations were people, they'd be in prison for the rest of their lives. But they aren't people. Republicans want corporations to have the rights of people but not the responsibilities.

That sounds like a bigger issue than privatization.

When are we gonna see the rest of the tRump-Epstein files?
You should ask that in the next meeting, during the Q&A. Maybe we can elect another democrat president, and they can sit on the files for another 4 years during which you will say absolutely nothing about them.

In fact, here is a prediction. Within 3 months after TRUMP! leaves office to great fanfare, you will be saying nothing about the democrat Epstein's files.

So, you're saying he will never release the tRump-Epstein files?

Even though it's been mandated by congress? In a bipartisan vote? And he signed the bill into law?

I don't know, I'm not in his inner circle and I don't pretend to be. I do believe, however, that he will milk this for as long as he can. Watch what he does quietly while you guys are dancing around your campfires, shaking your spears and chanting that you got him this time. I think it's a rope-a-dope, dangling the carrot in front of you so you ignore what he's really doing, only to snatch it away right when you think you finally have something. And, quite frankly, he doesn't have to give you much of anything because he knows you don't need any substance, just the idea that you're actually doing something by regurgitating panting headlines.

I also believe the fix is already in for any ultra-rich and powerful people who might be implicated. We might have a few sacrificial lambs thrown to the slaughter for distraction, but that's it. In addition, any subsequent democrat president will shut the whole thing down to your thunderous applause, because this isn't about exposing and prosecuting those who would abuse children, it's purely about Orange Man Bad, and as soon as he's gone, so is the issue.

Just my opinion.

tRump doesn't do anything quietly, in case you hadn't noticed, lol.
