The media and public opinion influencers should refrain from using Trump's descriptions of the taxes he is imposing on the American people, as tariffs. They are in no way tariffs, despite the woefully uneducated protestations of Trump.

Tariffs are fees that are paid by the exporting countries Trump imposes them on, which ain't what is happening. He is imposing them on the American people at the point of import, NOT on the exporting countries. Trump doesn't understand tariffs; Trump has never understood tariffs, and Trump does not have the right to levy taxes on the American people. That is the duty of Congress.

It looks like the appeals court is going to make it plain to Trump and shoot him down. Of course he will appeal to his pocket Supreme Court. All bets are off as to how they will rule. If they support their master, the losers will be the American people!

Bigly!!!

only if retard democrats can get control of congress and bend over and grab their ankles to all our trading partners
Yes. You don't understand what they are, what they do, that the negatives outweigh the good.

Tariffs are "Fees." You are correct. They are not taxes. And, we haven't seen inflation skyrocket with tariffs like the naysayers predicted. So, no. They are not fees imposed on the American people at the point of import. SCOTUS will overturn this.

Even if these tariffs are considered taxes they only affect the jackasses who buy imported goods… the people who deserve to be taxed as much as possible.

Ummmmmmmmmmmmmm, it was Biden and the dems who brought us 9% inflation.

Tariffs are fees that are paid by the exporting countries Trump imposes them on,

Wrong. Tariffs are paid by the export companies. This, unsurprisingly, gets passed along — as an associated cost of doing business — to the purchasers (typically the import companies). They in turn pass that additional cost along to the various wholesale buyers of the items, and it gets added to the consumers’ price per unit.

It acts as a kind of taxation, but it also serves (as President Trump has been demonstrating) additional purposes.
which ain't what is happening.
What you said was wrong; so, of course, it isn’t what’s happening here.

Ummm it was Trump's mismanagement that brought us inflation.

It was Biden and Powell who got it down to 3%.

It will be Trump who gets it back up over 7%.
