When that confidence is restored businesses will no doubt use those cuts to help expand. At this point, those cuts are helping to stem further jobs lost. Those cuts are allowing him to at least break even on his bottom line. Allowing him to avoid further layoffs. Do away with the cuts, and he goes under. His employees lose their jobs.

BTW how does claiming that jobs will be created when confidence is restored answer the question "they (the job creators) aren't using what they have to create jobs NOW so how will extending what they already have make them change their minds and start doing what they haven't been doing??"

IT DOESN'T. This discussion is about how will extending the taxcuts will change anything since they haven't done much of anything recently and that extending them is merely maintaining the status quo NOT what restoring confidence will do. You lose AGAIN.

No!....She's now in law school full time. But that was addressed in another post in another thread. If you weren't such a douchebag you would know that.

Our employees in the Vegas restaurant haven't had pay cuts either. But then, they are union. We have contracts to honor regarding pay. And, we're weathering the storm just fine. Thanks to the cuts, we haven't had to scale back. Do away with the cuts and it will be a different story.......Gotta protect that bottom line after all!.....But that's not something you would understand, OBVIOUSLY!
