I lived in California for 3 years and the illegals pretty much own that place now it is a sanctuary state, most illegals never came here to live in the first place, they just come here to make American cash and send it back to Mexico or wherever there are from, they live in squalor here in America and send almost everything back home, they are not here to assimilate to our culture, learn English or become Americans. These illegal aliens are NOTHING like your ancestors who came here through Ellis island.
Well you finally got one fourth of the equation right. You wrote:
"never came here to live in the first place"
There's hope for you yet. If people come here to work, they should be able to do so
without having to become citizens. That way you can regulate them; being guest workers means there is no birthright citizenship; if they become a liability to the State (they get convicted of breaking the law or need welfare), they go home with no obligation.
You're trying to wage a war that, in the long run, is not winnable. This country was founded upon the principle that every person is born with the
Right to Liberty. The Constitution, the laws and even you cannot circumvent that. Liberty trumps the Constitution since
the government does not grant Rights.
Liberty is a Right. Citizenship is a privilege. You absolutely cannot deny to people their unalienable Rights. You can regulate those people and you can make sure they abide by the laws, but you cannot force them to become citizens. You cannot tell employers who they can and cannot hire. You cannot tell others who they can and cannot invite.
“
You have Rights antecedent to all earthly governments; Rights that
cannot he repealed or restrained by human laws; Rights derived from the Great Legislator of the universe.” - John Adams, second President of the United States
