What lefty just can't understand - and I credit our educational system that teaches the kids Shakespeare, music, art, DEI, Black History, Reparations, Gender identity, and boat loads of other crap -- rather than personal finance and critical thinking -- is that sometimes you have to have short term pain in order to produce long term gain. Trump is thinking long term here, trying to bring manufacturing back into the country and correct unfair trade deals.

That means that US goods are going to be sold for less than last year in China, helping the United States business sell much more product in China and increase their revenues while also shrinking the trade deficit. Pretty simple economics.

At the beginning of the year while Biden was still in office, China had tariffs up to 125% on US imported goods, it is now 10%, that reduction will allow the United States businesses sell more product to a customer base of 1.4 billion and allow our United States based companies to sell more, produce more and hire more and on the our side, the US consumers and businesses will be able to afford products from China and possibly lower price. Also, it ties China to be more responsible for keeping fentanyl out of our country.

Add to that in lowers our trade deficit. I am not sure how this is not a win for the taxpayers and businesses in our country.

I realize you don’t want it to work however the fact remains that this deal will help with the trade deficit. If only one out of ten buy American products that is 1.4 million customers, also Chinese businesses and their government buy US products, so cry all you want, the doom and gloom you have lied about since last year has failed to materialize and it pisses you off. If this was a Harris deal you would be crowing with excitement and I would be to, we needed this deal years ago and no one attempted it and it even Trump failed to do so in his first term, there was a risk that many would never take.

Trump has started a trade war with China that could turn into a real war. China is not going to sit still and with the being allies with Russia and having power, this could turn ugly soon.

The least problem but nonetheless a big problem for all of us, is that we will now be unable to buy anything as everything is going to be way to expensive. As of now, things have gone up already and now they are going to go through the roof
