China had in place 125% tariffs on some of our goods in China so an item that a US company sold for $100 in December would have been $225 and today would $110, That creates a higher demand to a consumer base of 1.4 billion, it will increase demand, US suppliers will need to meet the demand so they will hire more workers which employees more workers. Also it will help reduce our trade deficit with China, it won’t erase it but it will reduce it.

I am worried about Trump and free speech, however I was concerned about Biden manipulating social media. I believe Trump is using the law to retaliate against his political opponents. Those really concern me but the trade war is an absolute victory for my country. I NEVER was a Biden supporter so your statement is misinformed. What I ALWAYS said is that Biden had a competent group of people helping him that got things done.

Secondly, you are sadly mistaken when you say that Xi caved in to Trump. It was Trump that raised the tariffs and Xi followed and then it was Trump that reached out to Xi to talk and it was Trump that lowered the tariffs. They tariffs came down 100% for both sides but it was Trump that had everyone in the world, including his own people that were criticizing him. He wants to feed his ego and the China Tariffs were doing the exact opposite. He caved in.

More favorable terms? Bullshit. He got nothing of any consequence. Show me where he got something that was worthwhile. Xi is the big winner because he can keep selling stuff to Americans at a low price, which they will buy.
