That wasn't the wisest decision in the history of businesses
Says a lot when you consider the lines around the block at Chick-Fil-A.
\Many Chick Fil-A's have put in double drive thru lanes in order to handle the business.
The Chick Fil-A in my area is always crowded. They finally put a double lane in. Half the time they have employees walking in the drive thru lanes taking orders. Amazingly enough with all the big crowds they never got my order wrong.
Compare the class and quality of employees at CFA with other places.
I did my own experiment at one of the McDonalds in the town where I work. I went every day at lunch each of the 21 days that month I worked. While I didn't eat the food as it was a test, 11 of the 21 times it was wrong. When I ordered, I altered that normal way it was fixed (i.e. - no pickles, extra ketchup, etc.). Two time the order was wrong stick out to me. One was when I ordered a new item and ask to leave off the mayo and pickles. The order taker said it didn't come with either yet when I got it, it had both. The second one involved asking to leave off the mayo. When I got it, it had mayo. When I took it to the person from which I ordered it, she said I didn't tell her to leave it off. The funny part was the look on her face when I showed her the receipt and it had "No Mayo" where she had punched it in. What bothered me was her telling me that I should have simply wiped it off if I didn't want it.
Yeah, they're worth $15/hour.
