That doesn't make her credible being credible is being honest and having actual evidence to support your claim.
Just because someone has papers doesn't make them anything
Uh, yeah, it actually means a lot. It means they ALREADY HAVE a professional reputation that they are willing to put on the line. It means their integrity and credentials have been vetted by professional institutions. If Academic Credentials weren't so important, colleges wouldn't be able to charge such outrageous amounts to get them.
As opposed to Ms. Reade, who it now appears just flat out lied about her educational background.
