Talk about Gerrymandering, Illinois has 14 Democrats and 3 Republicans in Congress (17% Republican)but 45% of Illinois voters voted for Trump in 2024.

Seems like Gerrymandering to me.

17% Representation in the House, yet 45% voted for Trump.

Democrats have 83% of the House seats for Illinois, but 55% voted for Kamala.

A fair representation of the people of Illinois would be 8 Republican and 9 Democrat. I would even go 7 Republican and 10 Democrat.

Democrats have been Gerrymandering for 213 years. It was invented by Elbridge Gerry, VICE PRESIDENT OF JAMES MADISON.

Democrats have already squeezed out all they can in blue states from Gerrymandering.

2.5 million people voted for Trump in Illinois. 3 million for Kamala. 14/3 is not a reasonable split.

If Illinois does more Gerrymandering, maybe they can get it to 17-0 Democrat.
To quote Hux, also terrible. Gerrymandering is a bane on the right of enfranchisement.

See how none of you lefties can explain 14-3 House party split in Illinois with a 55-45 voter split.

It is called GERRYMANDERING.

Texas did not invent it this week, you low information drones.

Thanks for the confirmation, I was pretty sure you were just parroting whatever fake news you've been told.
it isn't fake RETARD every state has laws and every state with gerrymandered districts ignored the law on the books,

Gerrymandering is legal.

Period. The only restrictions are race-based impositions by the 14th Amendment and the ERA. Much more the ERA than the former.

And SCOTUS is getting ready to strike most of that shit down.

Between Texas, the absence of Illegal Immigrants (they count in the Census towards apportionment) and dimocraps just being the scum of the Earth, we might be able to rid the Earth of the disease called the democrat party by 2031.

God Bless America, **** the dimocrap scum party. And EXTRA **** the scum that vote for it. May they all get even uglier than they already are. And fatter.

I thought the Equal Rights Amendment never passed.

That being said the only way for the system to work is to allow it for any reason unless you pass an amendment detailing the rules.

And good luck with that.

My bad. I meant the Civil Rights Act. CRA, not ERA.

except in states with gerrymandering the state violated its own laws to create the districts.

it isn't fake RETARD every state has laws and every state with gerrymandered districts ignored the law on the books,
While all states have redistricting laws, the extent to which gerrymandered districts are considered "ignoring the law" depends on whether it's partisan or racial gerrymandering, and whether the specific state's laws and courts allow for successful challenges.

If Republicans play this right, they can peel the layers of onions to show what Progressives do to attain and keep power. Perhaps Republicans just from the 2024 election should have a dozen more seats from common sense redistricting plus more from Progressive cheating. This is why they act like they do. They know the game is rigged for them.

While I agree -

Your average Democrat has the brain of a chimp, they know that they aren't ever successful on an even field.

So take Illinois as an example, what laws regarding the drawing of district maps have they ignored?

Illinois is 55/45 Dem/Rep
Illinois is 14/3 Dem/Rep in the House.

Anyone want to explain how this is a fair representation of the Illinois constituents in the House?

How exactly do you think this happened without…..

GERRYMANDERING

If not for gerrymandering, democrats wouldn't have any distinct at all.

To quote Hux, also terrible. Gerrymandering is a bane on the right of enfranchisement.
Massachusetts has ZERO Republicans in Congress, and yet 36% of the folks in the state voted for Trump in 2024.
