Well, at 25 it's okay for a woman to be a dim. I like the innocence, the "Wow, look at all the stars..." in young people but after a while it starts to get old.

Earlier today she asked me about my thoughts concerning Trump’s decision to remove secret service protection from Fauci and others. (Clearly, she thought his move was petty, dangerous and ill-advised.)

By contrast, I was surprised that Fauci even had been receiving protection from our secret service. I can’t really understand how he had ever merited that expensive protection. ($15 million/year??!?)

There is a genuine gap in the understandings of liberals and conservatives. And familial membership doesn’t bridge that gap.

Try this one: hasn't he made enough money from his time as the highest paid gubmint employee of all time, his attendant pension, and vax kickbacks to pay for his own security?

As Trump put it, for all the money these people made, he thinks they can afford to pay for their own protection.
And Fauci made beaucoup bucks.
