Taco shop owner in Arizona has officially been arrested......for HIRING illegal aliens.

You are mixing subjects now to obfuscate the original subject. Yes, I know illegals take up resources as I have posted about many times. The point remains that America IS in a labor crunch largely because our younger generation(s) who would be the labor force is largely uninterested in hard labor and prefers making money on TikTok or other side hustle jobs not involving sweat. We can and should work our way out of that predicament in time. But Like I said, you don't fix a problem years/decades in the making quickly.
I don’t think you’re thinking about how it all ties together. We’re in a labor crunch because we’re servicing 50 million illegals and their anchor babies and now the babies of anchor babies.

What ICE suggestion? You previously said you want the employers jailed. So you are backtracking. You are talking from an ivory tower I am talking from Southern Arizona where I have lived for most of my life. I KNOW what I'm talking about while you talk theories that will fail spectacularly.
I’m in South Mexifornia…we have 10 illegals to every one of yours…I know how it works.
Employers should be warned that raids are coming, they should be heavily fined and forced to fire all illegals…if they don’t comply they should be jailed.

Yes, our whole economy is based on cheap, foreign workers and low wages.

..And it always has been..from the dawn of the industrial revolution to right da **** now.
Cheap foreign labor is a direct result of the rise of Unionism. The more wages went up, the more safety reqs enforced, the shorter the hours got--the more attractive cheap foreign labor looked..from the Irish to the Chinese--and not forgetting the Blacks and the Latinos--for a long time.

You see, without cheap labor you cannot sell commercialization...the market is just too small for the prices you must charge.

So either raise prices and hope to survive, go off-shore...or you hire illegals.

This dynamic is NOT going to change, IMO.

Not wholly dependent, but enough that a significant number of American business owners and their American employees and Americans who need their services would be hurt by a hard line shutdown of all illegal hiring. Work visas and continuing to deport dangerous illegals is the best "first phase" of fixing the illegal immigrant mess.

Cheap labor is relative to the norm. When the norm is changed (as in an influx of cheap labor), going back is almost impossible. Save war or some cataclysmic event.

Just curious…will you be bummed when illegals are gone and there is less demand for the products and or services of said “American business owners”? Aren’t they going to be hurt by a hardline decrease in demand?
Certainly you don’t think we should recruit India’s 1.4 billion people to increase demand for American businesses…do you?
We have been living in an inorganic lib concocted faux America….A Twilight Zone that never should have been…I’d live on the streets if it meant getting this nation back to what it was when I was a kid so I could pass on the same America I inherited.
