Taco shop owner in Arizona has officially been arrested......for HIRING illegal aliens.

You think Trump should create another DACA like form of weird citizenship to accommodate businesses that have blatantly disregarded our labor laws/immigration laws and ran legitimate owners out of business?
Do you think there are different levels of illegal and should it depend upon whether or not they are a useful enough slave? That sounds like some slave era shit right there.

I think thats exactly what this nation needs…If a business can’t stay in business without hiring illegals then it never should have been in business to begin with.
I said nothing about fast track citizenship, you interjected that. I specifically said WORK VISAs which are already widely in use. A WORK VISA and citizenship are completely separate things. And if you think putting every construction/maintenance company, every restaurant, every service company out of business because they hire illegals you are living in an ivory tower. You don't fix a problem decades in the making by flipping a switch.

Should there be a 'Hire an American citizen first' polity? Would it be legal?

The Bracero Program got us work visas, amnesty and DACA, the flood gates were opened. Give the parasites an inch and they take a mile…Mexico has been taking America over one parasite plant at a time and we Americans have been too stupid to see it for what it is…It’s time we suffer a bit to fix this, to reset things, to take America back. Send them all home and let’s start all over. Merit based immigration, no birthright citizenship.

How would you enforce it? For instance, ICE raids a construction company and finds 5 illegals employed. ICE says "why didn't you hire Americans first? Employer says "I've held these position open for months, no Americans stepped up and I'm a month behind on my jobs. So do you shut the company down and send the employer to jail? :dunno:

I believe if we all woke up tomorrow and all illegals were gone we’d manage just fine. Let the math lead us. If they are a $150B dollar per year net loss then they are a net loss all around.
We can get back to dealing with Dr, John Smith and truckers named Cletus and Cooter…return to moving through emergency rooms swiftly, attaining doctors appointments quickly, be rid of excess traffic on our roadways, blue collar trade work would drive the middle-class again, fewer of our daughters will be maimed raped and murdered….the list goes on and on…our quality of life will BOOM.

Did the Taco shop owner?
I'm pretty sure the owner IS an illegal alien..LOL!

A Mexican national who owns a popular Phoenix-area taqueria was arrested on suspicion of employing people who are in the United States without authorization and other immigration-related crimes.

Blademir Angulo Audeves, 42, owns the Taqueria El Taco Loko restaurant at West Indian School Road and North 67th Avenue as well as food trucks in Phoenix. He was arrested on July 8 and faces charges of harboring unauthorized immigrants, knowingly employing people unauthorized to work in the U.S., improper entry into the U.S. and being an unauthorized immigrant in possession of a firearm.

Angulo, his businesses and his associates were under surveillance for nearly five months, from March through July 2025, according to federal court records.

Angulo waived his Miranda rights and spoke to Homeland Security Investigations agents after his arrest, telling them he most recently entered the United States without authorization in 2021 through Nogales, according to a summary of the case against Angulo written by a Homeland Security Investigations agent filed in court.

Angulo told investigators he had been building his business in the United States since 2017 and was able to expand with food trucks during the pandemic, the court filing said. At the time of his arrest, Angulo said he had 16 employees, but in the past he employed up to 29 people, it said.

The court filing said Angulo told investigators he "would provide personal information" for employees and help them get cell phones. Angulo said some employees had Social Security numbers and paid taxes, while others did not, the government filing said. His wife was in charge of the accounting for the business, the filing said he told officers.

He told the investigators he hired people he grew up with in Mexico, the filing said. It said Angulo told investigators he did not bring people from Mexico into the United States, but that he would hire people who were already in the country.

"One guy brings the other one," he told investigators, according to the court filing.

Employer needs to ask himself why no American wants to work for him.

It’s damn sad that Americans actually believe our nation is so dependent upon desperate illiterate thirdworlders.

iCE says “I suggest you take on less jobs.”
What’s next…Employer says- “I had to go pluck these Zulus from the jungle, it’s the only way I could stay in business.”

I bet, in history, those exact words have been uttered~

Our Representatives have looked the other way when American employers went overseas to get cheap labor and then, went overseas with their manufacturing facilities. The American economy has been diluted with cheap overseas labor and goods for decades. America has become more consumer oriented than manufacturing oriented which, IMO is not a good thing.

You are mixing subjects now to obfuscate the original subject. Yes, I know illegals take up resources as I have posted about many times. The point remains that America IS in a labor crunch largely because our younger generation(s) who would be the labor force is largely uninterested in hard labor and prefers making money on TikTok or other side hustle jobs not involving sweat. We can and should work our way out of that predicament in time. But Like I said, you don't fix a problem years/decades in the making quickly.

IMO the real begining of it was instituted after WWII with the Marshall Plan along with tech advances.

What ICE suggestion? You previously said you want the employers jailed. So you are backtracking. You are talking from an ivory tower I am talking from Southern Arizona where I have lived for most of my life. I KNOW what I'm talking about while you talk theories that will fail spectacularly.
