Syria conflict: Strike on Aleppo market 'kills 21'

A Syrian government airstrike on a crowded market in the northern city of Aleppo has killed at least 21 people, activists say.

Videos uploaded by activists showed extensive damage to the market and corpses being pulled from cars.

Many more were reported wounded in the strike.

Government forces are reported to have killed about 400 people since beginning an aerial offensive in and around Aleppo two weeks ago.

civilian life is incidental. So many have died and half the population if refugee or displaced

Let's see if this makes the nightly news....not.
Syria is worse than Iraq ever was, and getting to be as bad as Afghanistan a decade ago.
Mark my words - there will be a terrible and significant terrorist attack somewhere here or abroad and the source of the terrorist/funding/training/finances will originate in Syria.
And this administration is completely and totally ignoring it.

an interesting point for discussion

WHY WOULD ANY GROUP BOMB A MARKET PLACE?----specifically
a market place? Could there have been some evidence that the
market places was being used as fortress? Could anyone come
up with a reason to designate that market place a LEGAL TARGET
OF WAR? Seems to me that -----in a courtroom challenge on
any wartime bombing----the issue is "WAS THE TARGET IN ANY
WAY A LEGAL TARGET OF WAR"? The presense of civilians does
not prove a target is not legal-----In fact the allies bombed
Berlin in 1945---trying to get ADOLF-----and he had kids living in his
bunker. So far most people do not consider the bombing of
Berlin to be a "WAR CRIME" (other than jihado nazis who have
been very indignant since then)

I really don't know about that particular marketplace. Maybe the reason will come out later on. However, there seems to be a lot of marketplaces where Sunni or Shia suicide bombers or car bombers like to do their deeds so that they take out a lot of innocent people who are shopping with them.
