Well that pretty much kills a popular right wing lunacy. Who would have thought that a deadly disease would actually kill people.

Lockdowns save lives.

Lockdowns save lives.
Funny that. Even more amusing, lockdown stops COVID-19 in its tracks.

Its just bizarre aint it ? Meanwhile, the UK is easing the lockdown with a higher infection rate than when we actually locked down. A failure of conservative leadership, just like the US and Brazil.

/——-/ Cower in place, Timmy. Freedom is over rated, anyway.

“Sweden’s top epidemiologist has admitted his strategy to fight Covid-19 resulted in too many deaths, after persuading his country to avoid a strict lockdown.”

This man, along with every other living swede still has a job and a steady income

he was never going to be laid off and lose his house or his business due to a lockdown

which is a reality that government-worshiping liberals living off free money do not understand

a nation must produce wealth if it wants to survive

The concept behind the lockdown was to flatten the curve to prevent a spike in infections that exceed the number of ventilators.

DId that happen in Sweden? THe news article, as is normal, contained nearly no information.

Mortality is a big issue outside of conservative circles. You cant make money when you are dead. Well you cant spend it anyway.

No freedom when you are dead.

That was a dodge. And it took a while. Did you go looking for the answer, assuming that you could find shit to post to support your point, and then found the opposite information? And now are too much of a hack to admit it?

Well they failed to protect people. The dickhead behind the policy is holding his hands up and admitting it. In light of that damning evidence you are trying to suggest that it was a success. Where is your carer at this time ?

I asked a question about the actual results of the policy, in the context of what the goal of all the policies were.

You are unable or unwilling to answer it and trying to cover that with logical fallacies.

His actual words from the article, does not justify your over the top thread title.

That chart is utterly useless since it includes "probable" cases.
Which it is showing none of any sort of case for some days. Too, if you yourself are of any use you would have gone to the site given and found the definition of 'probable case', notwithstanding your lack of comprehensive logic. But you are no use at all.

The actual result is that the architect implied it didn't do a very good job of achieving his goals.

Probable is not actual

I can give you graphs of all kinds of probable shit that will never happen the only thing that matters is ACTUAL cases.

Is this the, as implied by the thread title, an "not good job as in not perfect" or a "not good job as in, OMG it was a total disaster and we should have conformed completely with the others"?

DO you understand my point about the flattening of the curve and how it relates to that that question? if so, will you address it, or are you just here to play sophist games?
