Surviving a sinking sailboat 10 years ago

Me and my niece spent a whole week in just about the middle of the Atlantic ocean..
On this stuff, after my sailboat started taking on water and sinking.

And a duffel bag full of MREs and Gatorade powder and cartons of cigarettes..and coca cola.

10 years ago, I was 24 years old.

A sailing boat that I was on with my niece started sinking..


So..

I tossed a pre-inflated, military inflatable boat overboard into the Atlantic ocean.

Then Tossed over a special case, which instantly released and inflated an oceanic life raft with dome...

Pre tied to the military raft...

I put on a special survival suit..

And an oceanic life vest..


And threw 6 big duffel bags into the Military raft.. the bags were pre-packed.


1 had 200 MREs and 20 cartons of Marlboro red 100s cigarettes, a pack of cigarette lighters and an ash tray.

1 Duffel bag had 200 more MREs.

1 duffel bag had six military type, 5 gallon jugs of water..

1 Duffel bag had 12 big cans of Gatorade powder, and 2 big steel travel thermoses.

1 duffel bag had Two sleeping bags, Two quilts, 4 pillows and four oceanic life vests.

And 1 duffel bag had 8 survival suits.
And 5 two liter bottles of coca cola.

And then I threw in a tactical military backpack..

Which contained a 30-06 Bolt action rifle, a 12 gauge Shotgun and a 40 caliber pistol, a 9mm Pistol, an 18 inch machete..

And a First responder and first aid bag..

Then me and my niece got off the sinking boat..

Into the life raft..

And with ropes.. pulled the military raft toward us.. and retrieved the packs..
And set off a police siren.
I got on my Satellite phone..
And got help.


But we were out there for a week straight..
At the surface of mile deep water..



On inflatable boats, with police sirens..
Eating MREs..
