Survey: Voters Reject Medicare Cuts Flat Out & Prefer Tax Hikes To Reduce Deficit

Let's just bury our heads in the sand and do nothing to fix the problems with these entitlement
programs.I seem to remember Libs saying that Freddie and Fannie were perfectly fine.Let's keep the focus on higher taxes so the Democrat party has more money to spend ...

People are stupid to believe this Government will stop at just taxing the wealthy..That won't be enough money for them, especially when it drives people from the country

but the King Obama has a mandate, so he says

The left needs to realize this country was built by rich people. Were the railroads built by rich people? How about the auto industry, the computer industry or any other industry that employ the millions of workers that support our economy. The left wants to penalize the rich, demonize them and complain when they don't hire more while paying higher taxes and more to deal with increased regulation. If the left would do something to encourage business instead of penalize it we would be able to get back to full employment and increased revenue. Of course some people would get rich and the left would never stand for that.

Railroads have been granted nearly a 100 million acres of public land( not to mention private land taken) given tax breaks and subsides, used slave labor and importing Chinese workers while making untold profits and building monopolies.

all the industries mentioned have benefited from corporate welfare and tax breaks.

And that is an example of a government encouraging business and jobs. Did the Chinese come willingly? Yes because life was better here than at home. Sound familiar? Much like our current immigrants. At least the government did something to encourage industry to create millions of jobs and build the most successful country ever. It just drives the progressives crazy that when a business is successful, employing millions, some people get rich. They would rather stop growth and have record unemployment that have enraptures get rich. Giving tax cuts to the wealthy for the money they put into investments that create jobs is not a bad thing. Is it giving preferential treatment to the wealthy? I guess you could say so seeing as they are the only people making those investments but without those investments you don't get the jobs. What the country loses in investment deductions they will more that make up in income tax revenue from the added workers. The government doesn't create jobs. Every government job is paid for by someone with a job in the private sector. It will be that way until you tax a government employee enough to pay his own wages. The rich in this country create the jobs so get over the fact that the rich get richer when we have vigorous economy. They employ the people that need the jobs that will give us full employment.
