Moron.....straw buyers can pass any background check...just like the Pulse shooter, who passed both an extensive background check for his security job, a federally mandated background check for each gun he bought, and since he had been accused of being a terrorist, he was interviewed 3 times by the FBI, and had an undercover FBI action against him.....and he passed all of it.......then went on to shoot up the Pulse night club...

You just want the background checks so you can stop normal people from getting guns.....

So I go back to the main point. Let the gun industry run it's own background check system, and then allow the victims of gun violence to sue them when they sell a gun to the wrong person.

You see, when it's your ass on the line, you get it done right.

But most mass shooters buy their guns within days or weeks of their rampage, so culling down the number of new gun owners is a step in the right direction.

Sure there is. You just don't sell them the gun if they can't prove they aren't crazy, don't have anyone in the house that is crazy, or if people in their lives have a valid fear.
