That's good. I do not have any children of my own BUT if I did I would love them and try to make them happy. Life is too short to make other people miserable. And that is a crime against all transgender youth and their families. I hope the state is sued when these transgender youth start committing suicide. The state has left them out in the cold. It is not in the best interest of any state to do these to any of their people ,especially ones so vulnerable as these are. Everybody knows family knows best. State run things are generally pitiful.

Suicide among transgenders is a complex issue. Driven by a variety of factors related to minority stress and discrimination rather than the transgender identity itself. Discrimination and stigma , rejection , lack of gender affirming care , violence and victimization , All these things lead to an increased susceptibility to mental illness , in addition to depression and substance abuse which are things that further increase the suicide risk. Dude. You're the one that brought up suicide. Studies show that surgery INCREASES the likelihood of suicide twelvefold. So, if your really gave a crap about transgenders, particularly children, you would be applauding this decision.
