You have stated the doings of the evil whiteys as holding you back, being mean to you, not respecting you, keeping you from voting, not wanting you to succeed, and much more. They need to do a complete turnaround in their attitude and behavior to get some sort of acknowledgment from you. OK, granted. Now, is there any role that YOU need to play in this, other than accept the efforts of others? In other words, what are "the interests" of black people, and are they worthy of any effort on your part? Do you believe the actions of blacks in general should be rewarded?

This ruling has severely weakened the Voting Rights Act (VRA) by effectively mandating that plaintiffs prove intentional racial discrimination to challenge voting maps under Section 2. This ruling undermines minority voting power, jeopardizes previous legal victories, and enables further racial gerrymandering.

There are plenty of black folks who live in Republican districts and gerrymandered Republican districts, but they sure as hell aren't represented.
