I got this ruling 100% wrong. I read it 5 times and then I read a piece form the therapist who filed the suit. So Im sorry for being wrong. Bet your wife will never say that.
The law banned any talk that did not support gender affirming treatment. It forced therapists to enable a mental disorder or refuser to taker on a case if they correctly and ethically treated the patient to accept their biological gender and not support the dysphoria. Their disorder was defined by law as normal when science defines it as delusional thinking. So this is a breath of fresh air with one exception. Jackson the only dissenter. She is the dumbest justice ever put on the court. She refused to define what a woman is. She is another example of DEI elevating the stupid. Sorry for my mistake

This is a terrible ruling. It means that conversion therapy which is banned by the APA and regarded as unethical means this harmful therapy can be used to try and convert homosexuals to heterosexual. It reverses the 1974 decision by the DSM that being gay is not a mental disorder.

A narrow opinion in the case, Chiles V. Salazar where a therapist challenged her talk therapy being considered conversion therapy. The court sent it back to the district court and told them to apply strict scrutiny as per the 1st amendment. 9-1 decision with only Jackson dissenting.

There are school employees hiding social transition from parents and then giving the kids information on medical clinics that would help them go further.

I didn't hear Trump say kids have surgery while at school.

But there are plenty of cases of kids being pressured to become the opposite gender by school employees.

It isnt the norm in statistics but in psychology its not abnormal. Homosexuality is genetic and just as default as heterosexuality to use a term that doesnt apply.
