Like I have stated repeatedly. This election is about survival of our Democracy and not necessarily about making things better. If our Democracy fails, we will all suffer long term. If Harris fails, we will only suffer for another 4 years. We cannot afford to think short-term because our kids will suffer more than we will if Democracy fails. Just look at what has happened to countries where Democracy no longer exists (Russia, North Korea, Venezuela, etc).
