Which satellite channel do we use as a proxy for temperature and pressure? ... here's the list ... yeah, satellites are real limited, if you want weather, you'll need weather balloons also ... not many biologists would know that ...

I understand weather changes ... and I understand catastrophic weather ... climate is about the average over long time periods ... 100 years is bare minimum, better is a thousand year average ... I agree the Earth has warmed 1ºC over the past 100 years ... so what ... that doesn't change weather, it doesn't change weather averages, so it doesn't change climate ...

Antarctica is a Polar Desert ... that is because it is dry there, and has nothing to do with temperature ... and it will stay that way until Plate Tectonics moves her away from the pole ... 100 million years she'll be a tropical paradise ...

Well. Here's the point I'm making.

Some people saw that this was happening and said "global warming isn't happening, this proves it". I said "snow and ice come from precipitation, you can have cooler weather and still be below freezing so the precipitation turns to snow and ice, it doesn't prove global warming isn't happening".

Even the study said it's from increased precipitation. Maybe you should do some research before telling people they don't know science.

And they can use satellites to check how much ice and snow there is and what the weather's doing.

Those claiming Antarctic ice is "melting" are really clueless science invalids.

First thing missing = liquid water, there ain't none

Second thing = ice cores prove AA adds a new layer of ice every year, how is that "melting?"
